Chapter Two

Jimin texted you after you got back to your dorm.
Jimin⭐️: Hey Y/N! I forgot to tell you, we're going to pizza tonight. Nothing formal."
Y/N: Sounds fun! See you then!

Immediately, you regret being so awkward.
"Kelly help! What should I do?" You whine. She enters your room carrying an armful of clothes.
"There's gotta be something in here that you like for your date!" She puts extra emphasis on the last word.
"It's not a date! It's just going out and having some fun with friends!"
"I don't know cause he was checking you out pretty hard while you were practicing!"  Kelly winks at you as you take a pair of black ripped jeans from her obnoxious selection of clothes. She pairs them with a white slightly cropped white T-shirt and a jean jacket before pulling your hair into a neat ponytail.

Jimin⭐️: We're waiting outside whenever you're ready.
Y/N: I'll be right there
You shove on a pair of converse high tops and run out the door.

The car outside our dorms looks like a small bus. It makes sense because there is so many people. You notice Katherine, another one of your members entering the car. You didn't know she was invited, partly because you haven't gotten that close yet, the group was still pretty new.

Jin was driving while Namjoon took the passenger seat. Katherine snuggled up against Taehyung, which makes you assume that he invited her. You take your seat between Jimin and Yoongi, who seemed to be dozing off. The ride to the restaurant was fairly quiet except for the occasional small talk. The boys asked you how old you were and when you started training. After saying that you were 20, you caught Jimin glancing at you through his dark bangs. He quickly turned away.

At the restaurant, everything was pretty relaxing. You were seated between Jimin and Katherine, so you got to know them both better. After talking with the boys for a bit, Jimin started to come out of his shell and started asking you questions.
You found out many things that you had in common, making a mental note of each thing. Each time you found a similarity, Jimin's face lit up a little bit. Being honest with yourself, you thought he was pretty cute.

Dinner passed relatively quickly which left you plenty of time to get stuff done when you got back to the dorm. Kelly asked you hundreds of questions about how your night went. Eventually you got her to leave.
You have a bad habit of practicing a lot before going to bed. It was in the middle of the choreography when you phone started buzzing with a FaceTime call from Jimin. Confused, you answered it and Jungkook's face came onto the screen.
"Hey Y/N! How's it going?"
"Fine?" You replied still thoroughly confused.
"Everyone is busy and I was bored and wanted someone to talk too!"
"So you called me?"
"Well I didn't know it was you. Your name is a winking emoji on Jiminie hyung's phone." You feel your face heat up. That made Jungkook do his signature bunny smile.
"Jungkook what are you doing on my..." The phone is dropped and all is black for a minute.
"Sorry to bother you Y/N." Jimin's face appears on screen, his wet bangs stringing across his forehead. You assume he just got out of the shower, which only deepens the redness on your cheeks.
"He's a little weird sometimes." You smile at his apology trying to cover up your embarrassment.
"It's fine. I was just running through choreography before bed." You can't tell if that's awkward to say or not.
"I can help you tomorrow if you want?"
"That sounds great!" You hear the words exit your mouth. A chorus of "ooh"s erupts off camera. Jimin rolls his eyes at them before smiling at you again.
"So I'll see you tomorrow then?" He asks. "Yup!" You immediately regret saying that. Why am I so awkward?
"Cool. I'll let you go. Goodnight!"
"Goodnight!" His eyes smile as you respond and end the call. Could that have gone better? Probably, but I can't worry about it now.
