Chapter Six

Jimin⭐️: Are you free after practice today?
You stare at the message unsure of what to respond, debating asking Kelly what to do.
Y/N: Sure. What for?
Why did you say it like that. Way to be awkward.
Jimin⭐️: The boys were talking about laser tag. You can invite whoever you want.
Y/N: Sounds great!

During practice, you invite Kelly and Ally to come with you. They agree to join you and the boys pick you up at 7.

You divide off into teams of five. You, Kelly, Jungkook, Jin, and Yoongi on one team while Ally, Hoseok, Namjoon, Taehyung, and Jimin are in the other. You run around for an hour while the teams are neck and neck. Eventually, you decide to take a break and get some pizza.
"We should have won that." Jungkook complains. Everyone laughs recalling moments from the game.
"We should do another round." Jimin suggests.
"But I'm tired!" Yoongi protests.
The rest of the maknae line agrees, along with your group. The new game starts but instead of teams, it's every man for himself. Ally and Taehyung are quickly out leaving you with Jimin, Jungkook, and Kelly.
It had been awhile since you saw any of them, which caused you to be on edge. You're sneaking around one of the pillars in the room when you see something move out of the corner out your eye. You try to pick up pace to out run whoever it is, but they keep up with you. You keep running until you hit a wall. The figure had you cornered. They carefully approached you without shooting.
"Hey Y/N." You identify the voice to be Jimin's. He closes the distance between the two of you.
"Umm hi J-Jimin." Your voice wavers.
"Oh no don't be afraid." He says softly after picking up on the fear in your voice. "I just needed to talk to you...without the others interfering."
"About what?"
"I was just thinking..." His voice trails off. "Uggh can you just come over tonight? This is too awkward."
"Sure." You day before shooting him. Together, you laugh for a minute before Jungkook shoots you out of the game as well.
Outside, the other members keep making strange eye contact with Jimin. You feel bad, assuming they are teasing him about something. The game ends with Jungkook winning. You head back to your dorm only to later sneak out to Jimin's.
