CRASH!Each male in the room flinches, Thomas raises his eyebrow. "That came from my kitchen?", A nods with a followed up "Yup". The ghost and mortal slowly walk towards the kitchen, Thomas reaches for the door handle, as he grasped it a large shock spread through his hand. He takes his hand away quickly
"Ow what the hell?" He holds his wrist looking at it, A furrows his eyebrows as the other two spirits crowd Thomas to make sure he's ok. The lad turned to the door gently shoving it open and sneaking inside.Static filled the entire room, in a strange way A thought he was lucky he was already dead. Wires stuck out everywhere and every single electronic appliance was going haywire. He looks around immediately understanding what happened here.
A walks past each appliance paying close attention to the one blue spark that ran across each detached plug, none were plugged in and were all very close to one another. The blue spark holts once its reached the last tool-a blender. It's plug was in a socket, it almost seemed as if it was blocking off the orb, A smirked reaching for the plug and yanks it out.
With unplugging came a giant force that shoved A across the air and out through the kitchen door, he banged against the wall falling to the floor not moving. The three men, who's previous conversation was interrupted, stares in shock and let panic set in as they realized their friend was not ok. Judging by the blue static dancing on his black turtle neck.
Roman shoved the other two out of the way getting on his knees quickly and checking for Virgil's pulse.
"Roman he doesn't have a pulse..." Patton points out quietly, "Shit" Roman curses under his breath immediately pumping A's chest hoping it would do something.Nothing happened, and frankly that made Roman upset. He stopped thinking for a moment before cupping Virgil's head and tilting it back, he makes sure his mouth his open and seals their lips together performing mouth to mouth resuscitation. Roman gave two rescue breaths then proceeded to pump his chest after each one. He was stopped shortly with a hand on his shoulder. It shocked him.
Roman stopped, sighing and turns around facing a man Thomas has once again never seen before. He was different.
The guy was skinny and pale, almost paler than A. His hair was sticking in every direction, a mix of greys, white, and brown. His eyes were wide and round, almost looking like they'd pop out of his skull any second and push off his tiny glasses. He wore a long tattered frockcoat which was obviously once white but now tattered, ripped, and covered in what seemed like dirt, dust, or coal. His trousers were tan colored and ripped as well covered in the same stains, the same goes for his blouse. His whole attire was set in Victorian times.
His veins bulged out showing off their dark purple color and had red rashes surrounding them, still attractive in Thomas' opinion. He stares down at Roman before nodding and kneeling down next to A. The stranger runs a hand over A's chest and pumped once. He jolted up coughing hysterically, Patton couldn't contain his happiness and hugged whatever life was left out of him. "Oh god I didn't know what would happen to you because you're already dead and who knows what happens to dead people if they die twice!" He rants.
Thomas rubs his head
"Ok someone please tell me who this is..." he closes his eyes stressed. Patton looks up at Roman and the crazed scientist looking guy and nods signaling for either one of them to talk. The man clears his throat
"Apologies for barging in, I am Dr. Logan Belkin. Jewish scientist from 1803, I studied electricity, mathematics and science. To spare you the confusion I died from electric shock". Every time he talked his body twitched a bit.Thomas stumbled over his words unsure of what to say, Logan turns to Roman "I'm gone for a few years and you've already broken our next host". If Roman has any blood left in him his face would be as red as his sash judging by how angry he looked.
"Me? You're blaming Thomas' distraught on me!? Hello Einstein, in case you didn't notice we're all dead! This isn't something people are used to, let alone an American!" He groans rubbing his eyes. Logan glares turning to Patton "How much does he know?"Patton was about to speak before he was interrupted by Thomas who finally got his words together
"I know enough". He stands up dusting himself off, Logan merely chuckles "Oh, trust me....you don't".It's been years since I last updated this mediocre book. I apologize to those who enjoy it. I've had personal issues going on that I will not get into. Hopefully I will be able to finish updating Sugar sometime this week. Stay tuned
