Santana's pov:

Things had been pretty different ever since I put Quinn in her place. She hadn't talked to me since, only sent me a few furious looks. It'd always been us, but now, we were fighting each other. Luckily for me, there were tons of girls around here who felt blessed to sit with me. But those were just friends, nice girls to chat to. Nothing compared to the beautiful Ravenclaw. No, not beautiful. My mind was searching for the right word, until one popped up. Gracious.

Yes, that was the perfect word to describe her. I had now fully realised and accepted that I, Santana Lopez, was attracted to Brittany Pierce. Not the first time I felt a thing for a girl, but it was definitely the strongest this time.

I was sitting on a stone bench in the hallway, when she walked by. Judging by the books she was carrying around, she was about to go to class. After her promotion, she was extremely popular. But I decided it wouldn't hurt to wave. 'Hey, Britt!'

She turned her head, and when her blue eyes found mine, she gave me a warm smile and a wave back. It melted me, and unfortunately made my cheeks turn a little red. After she and her friends had passed, the hallway was empty. At least I thought.

'You like her.'

The teasing voice gave me shivers, and made me turn my head. I looked into Draco Malfoy's cold eyes, and grinning face. A Slytherin, third year, just like me. The Malfoys were friends of the family.

'Oh shut up you little twat,' I sneered.

I'd known that boy almost my whole life, and I did not like, nor thrust him.

'Santana, I've known you're gay for years,' when he noticed my confused look, he added, 'your mother told mine, my mother told me.'

'Ah, so I guess all Malfoys are non trustworthy sneaky basterds.'

Draco faked a hurt expression on his face.

'Well, I was gonna offer you my help, but if you're just gonna bash on my family name, there goes your chance.

'Yeah sure,' I rolled my eyes, 'like you could've helped me.'

He got a creepy smile on his face.

'Oh trust me. I could.'

He isn't joking. I could tell by the sound of his voice. I considered wheter I wanted to go into business with this kid. Then I made my decision; 'I'm listening.'

He got a content smile on his face.

'It won't come without a price.'

I waited before I answered, making sure my voice wouldn't shake, when I said:

'I know.'

Brittany's pov:

I was still on cloud 9, because Santana had waved and smiled at me, when Professor Dumbledor himself stopped me in the hallway. 'Miss. Pierce, I have received some new information about your family issues.'

My friends were all staring at me. Of course I hadn't told them about the whole thing with my father. Mostly because Professor Dumbledor had told me to never ever do so, but also because we just didn't know a lot about it. Before my father suddenly disappeared, he had put up a wall in my memorie. To keep it safe. But now, the information we needed to find him, was locked behind that wall.

Dumbledor was still staring at me, and I realised I'd sunken away in my thoughts. 'Yes, of course, Professor. I'll come with you right away.'

All my classmates followed me with their eyes, as I walked towards Dumbledor's office.

'Sit down Brittany.'

Now that we were in his office, the school head didn't have to pretend like we barely knew each other. He had been in the hospital when I woke up, and took me into his school, because he was once a friend of my father's.

I took place in one of the big chairs.

'How are you? How do you like your new school?'

I bit my lip. The first few weeks had been kinda hard. But then I remember the cheerleading team and Santana. Especially the thought of Santana made me smile. 'I'm fine, sir. And the school's like... totally rad.'

The old man got smiling eyes when he heard my uncommon word choice . 'Oh well, as the principal, making the school totally rad  is a top priority.'

For a moment I was afraid I had offended him. I looked confused, and then he started laughing so loud I could do nothing else but join him.

'No worries Brittany, I'm glad you like the school,' after he said this, his face got a more serious look, 'But... I didn't invite you to my office for small talk, there is something more serious going on.'

That didn't really sound like they'd found my father.

I nodded, and he continued talking.

'People are still searching for your father. And I'm afraid I have some other unfortunate news.'

That doesn't sound good...

'The Death Eaters know you go to this school.'

Draco's pov:

'Yes, I convinced Santana. We've now got our very own insider.'

Mission accomplished. I felt pretty proud, until I noticed the man in front of me wasn't looking very impressed.

'And what makes that girl an insider? She's barely even friends with the target.'

'Oh trust me. They'll be more than friends soon enough. Both are extremely attracted to one another. Santana's just too ashamed of her sexuality to even realize she isn't the only queer in this school.'

'So?' The man still wasn't impressed. He annoyed the hell out off me.

'So, Santana thinks winning Brittany over won't be easy. That's where we come in. With some magic, we could make Brittany fall for her, but only if Santana gives us information in return. She'll have no idea Brittany doesn't need any help falling for her.'

Now the man grinned, and nodded his head. Finally, I thought, the idot understands.
