Fatal Fantasies

chapter 15

Aura POV

"Are you fine?" Mr. Freaked out asked me taking my hand in his.

"Yes, I am!" I said taking my hand away from his warm hold .

He got down the car followed by me. He started stretching himself giving me a great show of his well toned body and popped muscles. I was looking at him and suddenly his brown eyes met mine to which I quickly turned my face to the opposite direction getting embarrassed that I was caught gwaking at my kidnapper  which earned me a low chuckle from him. I too stretched my body as the muscles in the body stiffened making me unable to walk as I was sitting in the car for how many hours I had no idea.

After stretching out a little I took a step ahead and stood beside Mr. Freaked out who was analysing the surroundings. The view of this place was damn wonderful with many trees and birds around. If only Eric was here we would have taken loads and loads of pictures and posted then in our social media accounts .

"Where are we? "I asked in awe still looking at the amazing surroundings.

"In jungle!" He replied and my inner soul started running in the opposite direction leaving me alone with Mr. Freaked out!

"It's not safe to stand here, so follow me !" He said and started walking towards the huge trees. As soon as we entered the area covered with huge trees and their branches a sort of semi darkness enveloped us. The sky was almost shut by the canopy leaves which are very high above us. At the ground thick vegetation covered in all directions making us difficult to walk . The ground was damp and the air was cold with a peculiar smell of it which I liked the more. I really like the smell of damp soil , it really soothes me. All I could hear is the sounds of insects and birds , though I couldn't see them clear , I could hear them clearly as the sounds echoed all over  making the jungle feel weird and strange.

He was walking fast and frankly speaking I had no idea of following in anymore so I stopped.

"What happened?" He said running behind towards me.
"I'm not going to come with you!
I'm going on my own way and you go on yours!
Do hell with you and your kidnapping !" I said and turned in opposite direction to him making him face my back.

"Well you know Princess there are many animals here which includes bears, rhinos, tigers , lions  and what not!
I just hope that you don't become dinner to any lion here!"  He said trying to control his laughter.

'' I won't!" I snapped and step forward only to hear a big roar of a lion . I tremble and ran in opposite direction towards him only to hug him tightly wrapping my hands around his waist and my head on his chest that I could clearly here the thumping sound of his heart which was so soothing for my ears.

He started laughing and I unwrapped myself from him with embarrassment. I took a step back from him and now he was laughing loud catching his stomach . He looked very handsome with his dimple on the left cheek which depend more with his laughter.  His laughter made a site for me in a Jungle and his smile was very infectious and I laughed at my stupidity  along with him . we stopped laughing and nevertheless I followed him as we trudged along slowly.

As we walked past the green bushes too exhausted in search of way all we could hear was our own foot steps on the crumbly ground and the chrips of the the crickets .

The  sun started changing its shade from bright yellow to orange red the sky turned rich amber and then gradually mauve, as as the sunset ended its glory it soon was twilight. The birds ended their journey and was on their way to the warmth of their nests , where the red and brown squirrels returned to the trees making an irritating noise.

After a few minutes, the moon was the only illumination in the jungle covering itself with dark clouds in the sky. The irritating sound grew louder and louder with our every increasing step towards the heart of the jungle.
