THIRD PERSON'S POV

Both were a nervous-wreck.
This wouldn't have happened if neither hadn't been late.
Or maybe, it still could've.
Considering fate seemed to love the idea of torturing the two.

Her fist was leveled with her face, a small distance between her hand and the damn door.
Shutting her eyes, all the memories came rushing back, not that she had forgotten them anyway nor has she moved on.

Nevertheless, she smiled-or at least tried to-and finally knocked.
In a matter of seconds, Jungkook's head popped out from behind the door and gosh, never has she seen such an adorable sight.

His doe eyes staring straight back at her, his lips in a pout and his eyebrows raised.

The look of innocence he showed made her heart swell with adoration.

She internally smiled, keeping a calm and serious composure on the outside.

Oh, how foolish they both were.

Finally coming back to reality, Jungkook stepped aside, opening the door wider for her to enter.

The familiar scent of his came crashing down on her like waves.
It was all too overwhelming.

On impulse, her eyes quickly scanned the walls of his apartment and just as she suspected, a certain frame was no longer hanging on its spot.

Was there anything else to expect?

"It's in the garbage bin, you can get it yourself if you want," He stared at her, knowing exactly what she was searching for.

He was leaning against the wall, arms crossed and face blank.

Truth be told, he too was feeling uneasy.
He'd never admit it though, of course not.
He believed that his pride was rather of more importance.

"Let's just get started on the project."
