She wanted to punch him, throw him into a dumpster and say her final goodbye.
But when she caught sight of those beautiful doe eyes that seem to hold the whole universe in them, she couldn't.
Not when she still loves him.
Tears were cascading down her cheeks and a few seconds after, the man in front of her started crying too.
Which then brought along a trail of laughter.
Their eyes held sadness with a hint of hope.
Maybe things could be different this time.
She was still scared.
Of taking the first step.
A leap into something new.
But maybe that's what she needs.
To be brave.
Jungkook reached out to place his hands on her cheeks and his heart felt full.
He was a fool to not take her into his arms from the start.
A fool for letting someone so precious go.
A fool for not chasing after her when she left.
A fool for breaking her heart.
He doesn't deserve her and he's aware of it.
At least he isn't a fool to think that the girl standing in front of him would want him still.
Or maybe she does.
