*Mary'sPOV*
As I turn into the alley I her something move. It sounds like meatless, but I ignore it for now. As I turn around to see my attacker I know I'm doomed. It's Chuck, a purple dragon my dad makes deals with. He's about 19, with an earring, buzzed cut black hair, and a stupid idea that I should be his wife. He even told my dad that if he gave me to him, then the deals would be better. My dad almost agreed right away, until my mom started yelling at him that he can't. It's that only thing that my dad can't do that mu mom won't go along with. So I'm safe for now. When I see him smile I know this is bad. I quickly grappling a broken shower rod that is about the size of a bo staff in my martial arts class. I'm not a black belt, but I'm really good. His smile widens. "Put that down baby" he says. "Not a chance" I. reply. Then he pulls out this glowing green and blue goo. He sees that it catches my interest. "This stuff turns people into monsters, you can experiment with it all you want when we're married." he says. I look at him on horror. No scientist would ever use that if they were sane. I look up and see that it's dark. Chuck sees this too because he says "Let me escort home, or better yet your future home." He smiles after he says this. "Not a chance" I say. At this his smile drops. He charges at me with a knife. I use my makeshift weapon and block him. As I turn to attack I see the manhole slightly lifted up and a pair of eyes underneath it. I'm stunned just long enough for Chuck to land a blow with his knife. He cuts my arm and I take in a sharp breath. I turn back to the fight. I block his next two attacks and manage to land a few blows. One on his ribs, one to his knees, and one to his stomach. After theb last blow he crumples to the ground. As I turn to see if the eyes are still there, he pulls out a gun. The first shot misses, but the second one meets my side. As I start to try to stop the bleeding he knocks me in unconscious. Through my closing eyes he see him leave without the goop, which is cracked. I see a trail going the he way he did. Then I black out.
