Chapter 18

*Donnie'sPOV*

       I open my eyes to see that I'm in a bedroom. I turn over to see the door opened and a little girl looking at me. I smile "Come here Lily." She smiles and walks in dragging in Mary behind her.

      She smiles. "Your awake thats good. You wete hurt pretty badly." "I can tell I'm really sore." She hesitates. "Mary, what's wrong?" "In the crash the serum was altered by the heat. You can't change back into a mutant. No one can. You and the others are...completely human. There is no way to fix it."

     I stare at her. I'm sad that I'm no longer a mutant, but I can now have a full life. I look at her. "We may never be able to reverse this, but now we can start again." She softly smiles. The others then walk in. "Glad to hear you feel that way baby bro, cause now you have to get into to collage." They all smile. I get out of bed and grab Lily. "Well no doubt I will, but for now I have something to do."

Still Donnie'sPOV

    I walk into the store with my mind made up. I find the ring I was looking for. It was a slim silver band with a two small diamonds. One of them blue in the center of the clear one.

    I pay for it and head to meet Mary at one of the fanciest restaurants I could afford. I sit down and order for us both. When she sits down she smiles. "What's going on Donnie? This place is expensive." I stand up and take her hand.

    When I get down on one knee her eyes widen. "Mary, I haven't known you for long, but for the time that I have I fell in love with you completely. You make me more happy than I ever thought possible. Will you do me the honor of marrying me?"

    I pull out the ring and open the box. "Oh Donnie, yes a thousands times yes." I slide the ring on her finger and kiss her. The rest of the date goes smoothly.

Four months later (the wedding day)

*Mary'sPOV*

    I look in the mirror at my self. Ally is behind me in her bridesmaids dress  crying. I smile as I hug her. I straighten my white dress.

    

     It's sleeveless with a sweetheart neck line. At the waist it flows down in soft fabric covering my heels. I wear my ring along with a small diamond necklace and earings.

     My hair is in a bun covered in one of those pearly nets (a/nyou know what I mean. Those things that you always see in hallmark movies that the brides always have in their hair).

    I stand infront of the door with Splinter. The music starts to play as he walks me down the isle. I see Donnie in his tux and smile. Lily is by Ally in her flower girl dress. Once the priest starts talking I focus on Donnie.

     Then we reach the part I always wanted. "Mary do you take Donatello Hamato to be your lawfully wedded husband?" "I do" "Do natello do you take Mary to be your lawfully wedded wife?" "I do" "Then I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride."

    I smile as we kiss. We turn to walk back diwn the isle. Lily runs up to is and Donnie picks her. She laughs. "I love you mommy. I love you daddy."

    We both smile, proud of our daughter. "We love you too Lily." I say. And with that we exit the church.
