*Donnie's Pov*
I watched from underneath the manhole cover as the purple dragon charged at the girl. I wanted stop this, but couldn't. It was dark but not dark enough. I saw her look over and gasp. I quickly ducked and closed the cover. I then heard gunshots and risked looking. I saw the purple dragon knock her out and run. I would have gone after him if it wasn't for the mutagen. The only reason I'm here alone is because I kept the reading from my computer a secret. After April moved away I needed some space. The guys understood this. After saving her and her father they leave. I understand why, but it still hurt. April would have been fine with us. As I look at the mutagen I realize that its cracked and is leaking. I see a few footprints leading to where the guy ran. I knew I should have gone after him, but I couldn't leave the mutagen all over the place. As I move to go to the sewers the girl groans. I remember that she was shot and rush over to her. I see where the bullet tore into her side. She was bleeding severely. I quickly grabbed some extra cloth I hand to rap my. hands and bandage her side. I then scoop her up and start back for the lair. The others can clean up the mutagen later.

I laid her down on an empty table in my lab. I quickly grabbed the things that I would need to remove the bullet. After I serialized my hands and the area of her side I began. Once I had the bullet removed I stiched her up. I then took a look at where the gunn made contact with her head. It looked ok, though she would probably have a horrible headache. I put new bandages on and let her rest. I then went back up top and cleaned up the spilled mutagen. When the others got back I told them what happened. They all took it better then I thought they would. "It was the right thing to do" Sensi said. "The girl will stay until she is well, after that it is up to her." "Thank you Sensi" I reply. Ralph rolls his eyes, but thankfully says nothing. Mikey just smiled. Leo nodded. I smiled then went to bed.
