The Girl From Above (A TMNT fanfiction)

First Time Back

Forgot to mention that I do not own TMNT.

*Mary'sPOV*

   I rushed into Donnie's lab to grab a bag that I could fit my stuff into. I then brushed my hair and changed into a shirt that I had luckily had in my backpack incase I had something spill on me in science. I then grabbed the bag, which was a large canvas duffel and ran back out to the lair. "I'm ready" I say. Master Splinter walks in anf looks at me. "Not just yet. Follow me" he says. I follow him into the dojo and see him at the cabinet where they store the weapons. "Donnie told me of how you wielded a makeshift bo staff in your fight. if you are going up to the surface you will need a real weapon." he says as he grabs a staff with new wrapping on it. He hands it to me and I bow my head. "Thank you Sensi" I say. "When you return we will begin your training" he replays. He then hands me a strap that has a holding area for the staff like Donnie's. I take both and walk out of the dojo. Donnie looks surprised as he helps me adjust the strap. I put the bo staff in and we head to the manhole closest to my apartment. Donnie goes up first and helps me up. And for the first time in three days I breath in the air of the city.

*Donnie'sPOV*

  As I replace the cover I see her breath deeply. I smile and notice that I am enjoying the cool air too. We climb the fire escape up to the roof. We're a couple buildings away. The though then crises my mind that she might not be able to make the jumps. "I you need help I can carry you across the jumps" I say. "I can do it" she says "I had to take gymnastics to pass some tests in mma class." I remember that I saw how well she faught. Splinter is still going to train her, but she will have the basics down. We make the jumps, and within minutes we're at her window. S he slips inside and motions for me to follow. As she packs what she needs I look around. There are multiple pictures around the room. They're all of her alone doing some funny pose. I look back and she her grabbing two extra duffle bags and starts packing her electronics and books. I smile I see her grabbing a laptop and a few flash drives. She then grabs multiple chemistry sets. I smile. When we're done I take two bags and exit through the window.

*Mary'sPOV*

   As I shut the window, I turn to look at Donnie. He smiles and jumps onto the roof. As soon as I reach the top I laugh. I see him trying to get his T-phone to load the GPS. "What are you doing" I ask. He hides the phone and says"Nothing". I laugh again. I shake my head as I reach into my bag. "Well look what I have" I say as I pull out two bottles of nail polish remover. He smiles happily.  "I can start making the serum as soon as we get back" he says. I nod and we head back to the sewers.
