"Dont worry, you'll have fun Hailey." My dad told me as I held on tight on his leg. I really wish I could have believed him. " I'm sure Lizbeth Will be here soon."

Hi, I'm Hailey. I have long Brown healthy hair and bright, bold blue eyes. I have one older brother and one younger sister. My siblings and I are all three years apart, but I just turned seven. My older brother, Hunter, is nine and my little sister, Riley, is three leaving me in the middle at the age of seven. Today is my first day of first grade. Lizbeth by the way, is my bestest friend forever!! We do everything together, but this summer she was in north Carolina visiting family. Also my parents are divorced but my mom has a girlfriend named Monica. She's very nice. She always takes me to Disneyland and six flags because she's rich, but that's not the reason my mom's dating her.

I stood in the doorway until the teacher came over to me and lead me to the circle table. I'm her class there were twenty other kids. There was also different shapes on the table so we could all learn our shapes. The tables were also named after those shapes. I sat at the circle table. There was the circle table, the triangle table, the heart table, the diamond table, and the square table. I sat down in a little blue chair and admired the blank peice of white paper taped onto my desk. I really wanted to scribble on it. I looked to my right and glazed at the empty little purple chair next to me, Liz's favorite color. I was hoping she would walk through the door and fill the little chair.

What felt like ten minutes go by, Lizbeth, who I call Liz, walked through the door. She saw me and ran over to the circle table. she helped me out of my chair and embraced me into a huge bear hug.

"Hello again darling!" Liz said. She always tried to talk in a mature voice. "I haven't seen you in a while dear! I missed you!!" I told her I missed her to and we sat in two out of the four chairs around the circle table.

On the other side of the huge classroom was the main door to the class. There I was two young boys there. I staired at one of them who had thick black hair that stood up with the help of hairgel. He actually staired back. I had to admit, he was kinda cute, but I was only in the first grade so I looked back at Liz who was talking about this cool eraser that smelled like pineapple when you scratched it.

"Ok spill it." Liz told me. "Sorry I don't have water?" I said in a questionable tone. "No, it means tell me. Tell me who you were stairing at, right now." She said demandingly. I still answered back no one. As you could tell, she was also very demanding.

She turned all the way around to see who was at the door. When she saw that boy I was stairing at she said," Oo la la, who is that?!" She got up to go make friends with him while I stayed on my seat watching.
