"Hello, I'm Lizbeth, but you can call me Liz." She speaks in a flirty tone. "Uh hi, I'm Damien. This is my friend Erick-"

"Oh but you can call me Rick!!" He screams.

It seemed like Damien, this boy who I was stairing at, was extremely shy like me. His friend Rick so so outgoing, so open to meeting new people. I still sat in my seat admiring what they were doing. Liz lead them over to the circle table where we both sat. we're assigned seats, but it looks like the teacher was to busy helping a kid get a block out of his mouth.

"Damien you sit here." Liz pointed to a green chair across the small square-ish table. "Can I sit next to you?" Rick asked Liz. "Oh of course darling. Damien bring your chair next to my friend and sit next to her."

Liz grabbed her little purple chair that she demanded to sit in. She pulled it over to the other side next to a little red chair that Rick claimed. They sat down next to each other. I looked over and saw that Damien was looking me while turning a little red.

"Excuse me miss, May I sit next to you?"

"Sure, but you don't have to call me miss."

"Then what can I call you?"

"Hailey."

"Ok, hi Hailey." He said kind of shy-ish.

"Hi Damien." I said smiling and laughing.

He sat down next to me and we talked about how cool it was to be in first grade. Damien stopped talking for a second. He asked me what the little white peice of paper was that was taped onto our desks. "I don't know." I answered. Liz, Rick, Damien, and I, all started to grow in this big conversation before class started.

"Hello class. I'm Ms.Tammy. Welcome to room 6-T. I'm sure a lot of you boys and girls are wondering what the little white peice of paper is that's taped on to your desk. Everyone please pull out a pencil and write your names on it. That will be your name tags for the year."
