The sounds of winged wolves could be heard howling from far away. The Crystal moon still shone bright, even in the pitch black sky.

Ash, Firosa, Chrysos, and the others flew and flew for hours, flapping their wings continuously. Chrysos had never stayed up all night. Not a single time in her entire life. She started closing her eyes slowly. Chrysos really felt like taking a quiet nap.

Chrysos, you have to be strong! Larissa shouted at Chrysos, making sure she wouldnt close her eyes and fall asleep.

Chrysos immediately opened her eyes after she heard the sound of Larissa shouting. She could do this. She could resist closing her eyes and falling asleep. Chrysos had to. In order for every dragon to see her differently, she had to fight in the war of the winged wolves.

Larissa and Rusty flew in front of Ash, Firosa, Chrysos, Clover, and Dandelion. All was quiet and no sound could be heard. Except for the sounds of winged wolves howling at the moon.

Meanwhile, Magma and Jacuzzi were watching Lavender, Night, and Lily fall asleep, closing their eyes slowly. They both thought Night, Lavender, and Lily were all so cute sleeping. Jacuzzi loved babysitting dragons too.

Magma and Jacuzzi were in their den. Shadur didnt mind if Lavender and Night spent the night with their aunt Magma. Besides, Shadur would be alone and didnt have to worry about anything.

Magma and Jacuzzi slowly closed their eyes and fell fast asleep, lying on their backs. The only sounds you could hear in the cave were the quiet sounds of dragons snoring.

When Chrysos had thought everything was all right, it clearly wasnt. She heard the sounds of thunder rumbling. So did Larissa, Rusty, and the other dragons. They all looked up at the sky, finding out black clouds had filled the dark sky. The crystal moon was no longer visible now.

In a few minutes, large lightning bolts struck the ground, causing all the dragons and winged wolves to panic. Chrysos was the only dragon in the group that had screamed.

Rusty and Larissa were braver than the dragons. They knew what to do in a situation like this. They would have to find a nearby cave and sleep there for the night. It was the only option. If Rusty and Larissa didnt find a cave soon, Firosa, Chrysos, Ash, Clover, and Dandelion would probably die.

Rain started pouring down from the black clouds. Rusty and Larissa felt raindrops splash their backs. Chrysos, Firosa, Ash, and their earth dragon friends also felt raindrops splash their backs. Soon enough, lots of rain started pouring down.

Rusty, Larissa, and their dragon friends were all soaking wet. Flashes of lightning bolts could be seen from far away. That meant Rusty, Larissa, and the others had to find a nearby cave for shelter quickly.

Follow me, I and Larissa know where a nearby cave is, Rusty told Chrysos, Firosa, Ash, Clover, and Dandelion.

Rusty and Larissa led the way like always and flew down towards a nearby cave, as Chrysos and the other dragons followed flying behind them. The dragons and winged wolves flew inside a large, stone cave and landed on their bellies.

I cant believe we survived that thunderstorm, Chrysos said, thinking about the storm.

Chrysos felt a lot better, knowing that she was safe in a cave with her mother, aunt, two earth dragons, Rusty, and Larissa. She wasnt alone and was glad they were all there with her.

Rusty and Larissa stood up on their legs and shook the rain off their fur. Chrysos, Firosa, Ash, and the other dragons also stood up on their legs and shook the rain of their scales.
