YIXING’s P.O.V

Waking up on a Saturday morning feels like hell. I’m hurt, physically and emotionally. Physically, I’m tired and some of my body parts are aching due to last night’s party. Emotionally, due to the fact that two days from now I’ll leave my homeland and start a new life in a foreign country. I‘ll be leaving my friends and most especially my Prince, Luhan. I sat up and rested my head on my knees and started crying. Ever since dad had told me this, everytime I wake up, I cry. Everytime I’m alone, I cry. And everytime I fall onto sleep, I cry.

“Xing-Xing, are you ready?” Victoria knocked.

“Come inside Vic.” I sobbed.

Victoria entered my room and she saw me crying. She draw circles on my back to calm me down.

“Don’t cry Xing-Xing. It’s your graduation day today. You don’t want your eyes to be puffy during the ceremony.” Victoria said as she held my head up and wiped my tears.

“Thanks, Vic. But I can’t help it. It’s too painful.” I said as I hugged her and cried again.

“I-I know that it’s hard for you but it’s hard for all of us also. Just think of happy thoughts Xing-Xing. Here, hug Uni (The name of Yixing’s unicorn stuffed toy.) so that you will feel better.” Victoria handed me my stuffed toy.

“Thanks. You look pretty Vic. You’re surely dressed this early.” I chuckled.

“Early!? For your information, your graduation ceremony will start in 30 minutes.” Vic stood and crossed her arms.

“For real!? I overslept! Sheez. You may go now Vic. I’ll be ready in no time.” Vic nodded and left my room.

That was the fastest wash up I’ve ever done. I was out of my room  in 15 minutes and I ran towards the car and ate my breakfast at the back seat.

We arrived at the gymnasium in no time. I lead my family to the bleachers and then sat up beside Luhan at the first row. The ceremony started with the national anthem followed by our school hymn. Then Principal JYP started his speech. After his speech, he walk towards the center of the stage and signaled Ms. Fei for the presentation of diplomas.

“I would like to call on our student council president, Mr. Zhang Yixing, to come up on stage and say his speech as the first honor of this batch.” The crowd applaused as I walk towards the podium.

As I did my speech, I started crying again. I repeated some of the words that I said last night and my batchmates started crying as well. As I finished my speech, Principal JYP walked towards the podium and gave his last speech.

The ceremony ended and I felt my stomach grumbling.

“Aish! I’m hungry.”

“You are always hungry Princess.” Luhan chuckled.

“Yeah. I think I have some creature in here that’s why I’m always hungry.”
