"Skye!" I scream.
"Piper! Aerie!" she shouts back.
We stick our hands in the water trying to row it forward as Skye swims closer to us. Skye hops onto the boat.
"I'm so glad you guys are ok!" she says, hugging me, then Aerie.
"Me too!" I laugh. "Did everyone else get out of the boat?" I ask her hopefully.
"I don't know, the wave that came into the boat dragged me under the water, when I got above it I couldn't see anyone," Skye answers, frowning.
"Oh," I answer. "Well, I'm really glad that you were able to make it out!" I say, hugging her again.
"We should keep looking," Aerie says.
"Yeah," I answer, looking out into the ocean.
"Hey, what's that?" Skye asks, pointing to something in the ocean.
"I don't know?" I answer looking in the direction she pointed.
We steer the boat over to the object.
"It's Dylan!" Aerie shouts happily.
We go faster, helping him into the boat.
"Aerie!" he shouts, gratefully, looking past Skye and I.
"Umm, we're her too," I mumble to Skye, she laughs and nods.
Dylan sits down next to Aerie on the far side of the small life boat.
"Did you happen to see anyone else?" Aerie asks Dylan.
"Yeah, I saw Noah," he answers.
"Noah!?" I say.
"Yeah, but I lost sight of him when I got trapped under a wave,".
"Oh," I say, slightly disappointed.
I guess that means he's alive, though.
"Sorry..." he says.
"It's fine, it's not your fault," I say, trying to smile.
He shrugs.
"Do you have any idea where he went?" Aerie asks.
"All I know is that he was going in the opposite direction as me, and then the wave came before I could call after him," he says.
"Piper!" I hear in the distance.
Please don't be just in my head, pleeease.
I turn my head in the direction of the voice.
"Piper!" I hear again.
Please!
"Did you guys hear that?" I ask.
"Yeah," Aerie says, nodding.
"Piper?!" I hear for the third time.
We start steering the boat to the sound.
"Piper!" I hear the voice, again, this time more clear.
"Piper?!" they shout again.
Oh my gosh, pleeeease let it be who I think it is!
"Noah?!" I shout.
We reach him and he jumps into the boat.
"I'm so glad you're ok!" I say, hugging him.
"I'm so glad you're ok!" he says, smiling.
"Ok, ok, we got it," Aerie laughs.
"Sorry," I laugh, blushing.
