It was a cold fall morning, two kids were walking in an open field that was surrounded by trees.

Neither of them talked because they enjoyed the silence between them.

They both just kept on walking but then one of the kids reached over and took the other kid's hand in theirs.

Both kids then stopped and faced one another as a cold wind brushed past them.

The two kids just stared into each other's eyes; one set a bright ocean blue that seemed to have no end and the other, was a bright green color; the green reminded the blue eyed kid of a warm summer day.

The warmth that those green eyes held was not something that the blue eyed kid ever saw before until now.

The green eyed kid gave a smile and said, "Shall we continue our walk, Kai?"

The blue eyed boy known as Kai gave his friend a smile back and said, "Sure, Leo."

The green eyed boy with the warmth in his eyes, now known as Leo then let go of Kai's hand and ran off ahead saying, "Come and catch me!"

Kai laughed at Leo's energy and ran off after him with a smile saying, "Get back here, Leo!"

As they were running that same cold wind brushed pasted them but it never took away the smiles on their faces or the warmth in Leo's eyes.
