Ariana's POV
so i woke up and remembered where i am and sighed i got dressed in a purple tshirt with a jean jacket fishnet leggings with jean short shorts with sneakers i thew my hair in a long ponytail i head downstairs and tell my parents i'm going to starbucks and ask if they want anything
"yes dear get me a peppermint latte with whip cream and carmel" my moms says
"okay what size?" i ask
"medium just like me" she says
"omg mom stop" i say covering my face
she laughs "saying i'm ugly honey?" she jokes
i laugh "no mom you're 42 and talking like me" i joke
she laughs "baby, you're a perfect medium" she says smiling
i smile back"want anything dad?" i ask
"yes just a black coffee with six sugars" he says
"no creamer?" i ask
"umm on second thought irish creamer" he says
"okay size?" i ask
"medium like you're sexy mom" he says winking at her
"guys stop" i say
"FRANKIE? WANT ANYTHING FROM STARBUCKS?" i yell
"YEAH A MEDIUM MOCHA LATTE WITH EXTRA MOCHA" he yells back
"KK BE BACK SOON GUYS" i yell
i take my mom's grey ford truck with a hint of pink camo i shake my head and think to myself "she and ashleigh would get along just fine" i say laughing
"hi what would you like?" katie the waitress at starbucks asks
"hi i'd like a medium carmel latte with extra whip and carmel, i need a medium coffee with six sugars and irish creamer, i need a medium peppermint latte with whip cream and carmel, and last but not least a medium mocha latte with extra whip and mocha" i say
"okay coming right up" she says
i pay her the money and wait for my order
"order for schmidt?" kaite asks
my heart starts rapidly beating and i start breathing heavy then i see him looking so perfect "thank you" kendall says
"order for grande?" Ace asks
i smile "thanks ace" i say
"no problem miss grande how are you i havn't seen you since college" he says
(ace has light brown hair, tanned skin, blue eyes and is a total sweetheart also my bestfriend in college)
"i'm going through some stuff right now but i hopefully it will get better" i say
"i hope so and do you wanna hang out after my shift? just as friends" he asks
i smile "sure, we can watch movies and dumbshit like we did in college" i say laughing
"yeah, here's my new number i'll text you when i get off" he says smiling
"okay see you then" i say leaving
i can't believe her but i trust her so i'm not gonna get mad and i'm only here for a couple more hours anyways cause i'm going to see my folks tonight and not looking i bumped into my bestfriend from highschool
"Angel?" Kendall asks
"hi kendall how have you been?" she asks
"okay i guess how are you?" he asks
"good and was wondering if you wanted to hang out at my place before you're flight" she says
he smiles "i'd love to let's go" he says
i get home and hand mom her keys and coffee, give dad and frankie their's and i sip my mine at the bar "what's wrong honey you look like you've seen a ghost" my mom says
i sigh "kendall was at starbucks i didn't talk to him because i ran into my old bestfriend from college Ace Martiinez" i say
"aww, are ya'll gonna hang out?" she asks
i sigh "yeah but it just feels like i'm cheating on kendall" i say
"sweetie, you can have guy bestfriends there is nothing wrong with that okay?" she says
"so do you think he will be mad? i'm so tired of the fighting physically and mentally" i say
"if he is then he clearly doesn't trust you and he needs to because you guys need this time off" she says
i smile "thanks mom i should get ready wanna help me mom?" i ask
her eyes light up"of course babygirl i'll help you pick out an outfit for you're hang out" she says
she picks out a navy blue dress that stops at my knees with cuts where my stomach and hips are with a leather jacket and boots she curls my hair and applies my make up
"wow mom i look amazing" i say smiling and hugging her she hugs back "that's one of the newer dresses i just came out with in my line it costs $5,000 dollars but you're my daughter so it's free to you" she says smiling
"it still feels wrong mom" i say
"sweetie, we've been over this kendall needs to trust you ya'll are on a break you need hangout with you're friends and ace is a sweet kid i trust him completely" she says going downstairs
i hear ace's voice and my mom's so i head downstairs i feel his eyes on me as i head down the stairs i smile
"wow ariana you look amazing" he says hugging me i smile and hug back "thanks ace" i say pulling away
"now ace go show her some fun and tell her that she isn't wrong for hanging with her friends" my mom says
"you aren't ariana you're like a sister to me and it's cool to hangout with you're friends" he says
i smile "okay i believe you" i say laughing
"so where are we going?" i ask once we are in the car
"we are gonna start with dinner, then a movie , and i thought we'd end the night by walking along the beach" he says
i smile "aww ace you are a sweetheart" i say smiling
he smiles back "ariana it's nothing really" he says
"hi do you have a reservation?" the waitress asks
"yes martiinez for 2" he says
soon we finish dinner then go watch ride along 2 then we hit the beach ace and i walking side by side holding hands because we seen my ex here and i didn't feel like talking to him and ace knows why i hate him because he was and always will be a perv
"so how's life?" he asks
i sigh "not so great me and my husband have been fighting and we are on break" i say looking down
he hugs me "ariana, if you need anything when you get back on sunday text me and i have a surprise to tell you" he says
i hug back "what's that?" i ask
he smiles "i'm going to L.A next week for a movie and i'll be living there" he says
i squeal"yay! ashleigh will be so happy to see you again we can hangout" i say
"what about you're husband?" he asks
"if he doesn't trust me then that's his problem because i'm loyal" i say
