No Escape

Jun Seo worked like a robot, burying himself in unnecessary amounts of work, it was his only distraction...and it was the only thing, he believed, his mother appreciated about him, though she never showed it. She still called him a disappointment, a mistake.

His mother, Jiyeon, was well aware of the fact that one day she'll have to handover the company to someone else and there was no one else capable enough except Jun Seo. She hated the idea but there was no other option. Her step-son whom she apparently loved more than her own son, had no interest in that business and he left the country a year ago and never looked back.

After Jun Seo got married, everyone started noticing that something was seriously wrong with him, but no one had enough courage to point it out. Jiyeon noticed it too. But Jun Seo always pretended that he was totally fine.

But it was hard for him to cover it up all the time, Jiyeon once accidentally saw the scars on his arms, but she couldn't care less. Moreover, it was not possible for him to conceal his swollen bloodshot eyes  or lie about his new wounds everyday. Eventually people stopped asking and he continued to play pretend....

Yeona made her final decision. She was going to leave him...torturing and abusing him wasn't gonna get her anywhere, and she knew that very well. She just did it because she felt slightly better after that. She was still living with Jun Seo because she was afraid that Jaehyun will not take her back and she had nowhere else to go but now she was tired of all this. She wanted to take the risk.

She always wanted and tried to make Jun Seo hate her. She didn't want his love, she had nothing to do with him. She did everything she could, but he was so stubborn. It was not like he was forcing her...but even him being just there made her wanna kill him.

She was suffering too, she suffered everyday..she knew what unrequited love does to a person ,but even after knowing that, what she did to Jun Seo was plain cruel and unforgivable. But she couldn't help it.

So the next day when Jun Seo was not home, she left...she had a vague idea about Jaehyun's whereabouts...after a few hours she found his apartment, she felt her heartbeat quicken..
Now she was just standing there, contemplating what to do next..after a while she took a deep breath and rang the door bell...
