Reincarnated as an overpowered unknown

Another world?!

At this moment, Haruka and I were casually walking around following the way we saw in the miniature labyrinth.

"hey, haruka..."

"Hm? what is it?"

"I've been wondering... what kind of life did you live before you came here?"

"Hm?"

after this Haruka turned silent as if thinking whether or not she would tell me, But after a few moments she answered me.

"I was a princess in my own country" said haruka.

When I heard this, I was really surprised, A princess? I wonder why she was not satisfied with her life. But after a few moments, she suddenly continued.

"At first I was okay with my life, I had a loving mother,and had caring siblings. Everything was doing great... until that one incident that ruined everything..."

"hm? What happened?"

When I noticed haruka being silent I said immediately,"Um Sorry my bad, you don't have to answer my question if you don't want to".

But I was surprised when she said,"It's alright,i'll just tell you", when I heard this I nodded my head.

"I was a princess just like I said, I had the task to take on the role as a queen of my own country at some point. One day, the king of a neighboring country suddenly visited and proposed that they wanted to form an alliance, the king and my father had a talk about what the conditions to be had if they wanted to form an alliance. At first everything was going smoothly, but just when my father and the other king accepted each others proposal, they had another banquet. At the banquet, the prince of the neighboring country arrived, at first everything was doing fine, but who would have thought that when the prince saw me, he immediately went the king's side and proposed a marriage  ceremony with me being the bride. When my father heard this, he immediately rejected the offer, this cost the prince to lose quite some face. The prince did not pursue the matter and went back to their country quietly. At first we thought that the prince would let go of this matter, but who would have thought that a few month right after the alliance was formed, the king would die, this led to the former prince to take on the throne much earlier, and what's more was that just when he took on the throne, he immediately proposed another marriage ceremony to my father, wanting me to be his wife. My father rejected the offer once again, but the prince did not let us go that easy this time, he said that if I don't marry him the alliance of our country would be dissolve and that he would wage war against us. At first my father did not take his words seriously, he thought that the king would not do something so stupid just because he couldn't take me as his wife, so my father rejected his offer once again. Who would have thought that the king took his words seriously and a few days after my father rejected him, he immediately announce to all country that our alliance has dissolved, followed by a declaration of war. Our country responded in the same way, we immediately attacked them, this caught them off guard, we manage to take an advantage, but even though we still couldn't win the war immediately, at first everything was going smoothly, we were supposed to win the war in a few months, but who would have thought that one of my siblings was bribed by the king, he collaborated with him and poisoned my father after which he left the country,  this caused my father to be bed sick. Due to the absence of my father, we began losing our advantage in the war, the enemy king took advantage of this and formed an alliance with another country, which led us to being in a more disadvantageous state. In the end, my father died, a few weeks later my mother was assassinated, my siblings died in the war and  I was the only one left. In the end the war was lost, my country was taken over,  the king took me back to his country, and put me under heavy security. One day, I was walking at the courtyard of the palace when I saw a black cat, it was making actions as if it wanted me to follow it, this continued on and you probably know what happened next already".

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked, I just made you remember bad memories"

"No, it's fine,I'm not really that affected as I was before".

After hearing her story, I didn't ask anymore questions and just kept quiet. After walking for a bit more and taking a few rounds around the corner, we arrived at a certain corner.

At this place, we saw huge silver door, it was so large that you couldn't even see it's top. At the front of this door, there was a platform around a few meters wide, at the center of this platform, there was a key. After a few moments, Haruka and I  walked towards the platform, when we stepped on top of the platform, words suddenly began resounding in my ears.

"This is the first checkpoint, pass this test and you will move on to the middle layer. If you fail this test, you will experience unbearable pain, more painful than the final part of the 1st test. If you want to give up, you can step down from the platform. You have 1 minute to decide... 1...2...3...4...5...6...7..."

After the voice resounded, it began counting. A minute later, the voice resounded once again.

"It seems like you are already determined to take this test".

When I heard this, I nodded my head in response, I knew that someone was watching from somewhere else, and just as expected. After nodding my head, I immediately received an answer.

" Very well, since the both of you are already so determined, I will allow you to enter this door.
Inside you will find another world. Just keep walking straight, after a few distance, you will find a palace, enter it, after which you will receive the next instructions , you may go now".
Just as the sound of the voice faded, it was replaced by a deafening sound of doors creaking. When I looked in front of me, I saw the giant door slowly opening. Blinding light began shining from inside of the door, after a few moments we were finally able to see clearly, when I saw what was inside the door, I couldn't help but open my mouth in awe.

There was really another world inside, just as the voice in our head said. There were towering mountains, huge trees that reached up to the sky, clean clear rivers flowing that you can even directly drink from it, fishes swimming in the river,beautiful flowers scattered everywhere, there were even animals roaming around everywhere, even the ones deemed to be extinct were here. The sight was very beautiful, as if you would like to stare at it forever.

I looked at haruka who was right beside me and noticed that she was also looking at the other side of the door, her mouth was slightly opened, and she was standing there stunned. After a few moments she also looked at me, when our eyes met, it was as if I understood what she wanted to say.

After a few moments, we both took a step forward at the same time entering the other side of the huge door. When we entered, a gust of wind suddenly hit us, making our hair flutter around, but it was like the wind was there to make us feel relax, the feeling we had was clearly different from what we had at the other place we just came in from.

You could say that from the side we came from, the feeling was quite tense, gloomy, and lonely, but upon entering here everything felt calm and peaceful, you feel like you want to just lay down on the floor and relax while watching the clouds as they pass by.

After a few moments of enjoying the scene, I looked at Haruka and said, "We should probably get going we d...", but before I could finish what I said, We heard loud sounds of bells ringing.

" It seems like 5 hours has already passed. Haruka lets get going, we need to hurry up before we run out of time" Said Toshiro. "Mn" Nodded haruka, after which they began running straight ahead from the place they came from.
