After all of the outer shell fell off all of Team Dai Gurren looked on in disbelief. Teppilan was nothing more than a mountain sized gunman. "Hey Simon?" Kamina asked his voice started to crack. "Yeah bro?" "You remember when we first saw Dai Gurren and you said we shouldn't fight something that big. I wasn't scared then but I am now." Kamina said fear slowly griping as his hands began to shack. Simon smiled he had an idea. The floor under his feet opened and Simon dropped down to his bro. His dropping down snapped Kamina out of his fear induced trance. "Simon?" "Hey bro." Simon said as he pulled his fist back. "Let's see you greet those teeth!" Simon then punched Kamina hard across his face knocking his glasses off his face. Kamina held his check where he had been punched and then started laughing Simon then joined him. There in midst off all the chaos the brothers shared a laugh. When they were done Kamina spoke "Thanks Simon I needed that." "No problem bro." Simon replied with a smile as he climbed back up to his cockpit. "Uh Guys." Kinon spoke up over the commlink "I'm getting a reading from the top of Teppilan and its identical to Gurren Lagann." "WHAT!?" Kamina and Simon shouted together. Then Gurren rocketed up into the sky until it brock threw cloud barrier into the clear sky. There in front of them was the top of Teppilan and sitting at the top was a giant glass cage and inside was a thrown and sitting on it was the spiral king Lordgenome. Without even thinking Simon charged Gurren forwarded its right hand turned into a giant drill and made a b line for Lordgenome. As Gurren was closing in Teppilan's giant three fingered right hand came up and blocked the drill with just a finger the collision of the two lite up the sky with a shade of green. "Come on Simon we got this!" Kamina shouted. As the brothers gave it everything, they had only for the giant had to flick Gurren Lagann back to the surfs. Luckily Dai Gurren reached out and chough Gurren before it hit the ground.

Kamina couldn't help but chuckle at how bad things looked. "Toppling a mountain sized gunman how hard could it be." "Simon" Nia voice came over the commlink. "Pleas take me to my father I wish to speck with him." Kamina smiled to himself "She came all this way just to give you old man a piece of her mind. Your girlfriend is strong-willed Simon." Simon face palmed "Bro not now pleas." "Uh guys I don't mean to break this up but we got company." Dayakka said. An army of air born gunman poured out of Teppilan standing between Team Dai Gurren and the Spiral King. "Get going Simon the rest of us will open a path for Dai Gurren and you and Kamina take it from there." Kittan said. Nia jump out the bridge onto Gurren's open palm and climbed into Simon's cockpit. "You ready?" "Yes" Simon closed the hatch then turned around to face Teppilan. "Dai Gurren launch!" "Launching!" Dai Gurren took off into the sky with Gurren Lagann standing at the edge of the bow and the rest of Team Dai Gurren fallowing behind. Team Dai Gurren clashed with Teppilans army as explosions and gun fire filled the sky. After a few minus a thin patch on the right appeared Dai Gurren took the opportunity and raced towered Lordgenome. Teppilan swung its left arm which had a gargantuan sized hammer at the end but Dai Gurren did int stop it kept going and brock the surface of the hammer getting stuck like a thumb tack on a bulletin board. Dai Gurren cut lose and fired everything it had into the hammer until it blew a hole striate threw the hammer. The knife anchor part of the bow was shot through the whole in the hammer and crashed into the thrown room. Delivering Gurren Lagann to the spiral king. With Dai Gurren stuck in the hammer it did the last thing it could everyone evacuated to the bridge that was then jettisoned from the ship just as the rest of Dai Gurren self-destruction activated taking itself and the rest of the hammer to hell in a massive explosion. Everyone looked up the throne room as the bridge flouted down. Dai Gurren was no more it was all up To Simon and Kamina now.

Gurren Lagann jumped of the knife anchor onto the floor of the thrown room and stared at spiral king. "I see you have somehow managed to arrive men of the spiral." Lordgenom said threw narrowed eyes. "So, you the big boss eh?" Kamina said "Well clear the wax out of your ears because I got something to tell you. We dug our why up from Jiha Village and bested every challenge in our way for the soul purpose to come her and put you in the ground. He is Simon the digger and I'm the mighty Kamina. We are the invisible brothers of Team Dai Gurren. Remember our names because we are the last thing you will see in this life!" "Oh really?" Lordgenom replied unfazed by the speech. Nia pocked her head out of Simons cockpit so she could speck to her father. "Ah Nia your looking well you do realize I never plane to see you ever again." He said nonchalantly. "Why are you doing this father you drive humans underground and kill them if they come to the surface. It horrible why you do such a cruel and terrible thing!" Lordgenom started chuckling then broke into a short manically laughter. "Nia your old mans lost it." Kamina said. "Ignorance is such a freighting thing you believe are fighting on the side of righteousness. But it is I Lordgenom who is truly protecting this world I am the ultimate guardian of humanity." "There no such thing as a guardian who kills his charges are you so blind you can't see there's something wrong with this world." Nia shot back. "This world I have created is the only way to insure humanity's survival. You and your friends have strayed from that path and I can not allow that to continue. For humanity's sake you must die. Now then as you two piloting the gunman I have seen that the power of the spiral is strong in you." Lordgenom stood up "But you are unaware that such power only leads to destruction. Allow me then to show you its futility." The floor opened up and a black gunman rose up from under Lordgenome feet. "You are not the only one to possess the power of the spiral." He said as he got in the cockpit. "I will show you its true power behold my Lazengann!"

"Cheeky bastered copying our style!" Kamina said as he realized Lazengann was the same type of gunman as Gurren Lagann. Lazengann charged "Bro are you with me?" "To the death Simon to death!" Kamina replied. For the first time Gurren Lagann was fighting its equal not even Gill drill break had any effect and slowly Gurren was losing. After being slammed against a wall Gurren fell to its face but slowly it got back to its feet. "You have strength to back on your feet I see well it was a wasted effort." Lazengann charged. "Will see!" Simon shouted as Gurren charged. Drills came out the sides of Gurren's right arm drilling off Lazengann's own right arm. Lazngann's tail pierced strait threw Gurren's chest. A scream of ultimate pain escaped Kamina mouth. "Go Simon use Lagann!" he shouted and from there the events played out like the world in the official time line right up to Teppilan crumbling. Gurren Lagann reunited with the rest of Team Dai Gurren and everyone looked in horror as Gurren mouth opened up reviling Kamina with a giant hole in his chest his blood covered the cockpit. Kamina's eyes were barley open as he looked at Simon. "You beat him?" Simon nodded tears swelling in his eyes. The sun appeared over the horizon Kamina turned to see it "Dad we did it." With that Kamina's eyes closed never to open again.

Simon wanted to cry but he wouldn't let himself he had to be strong for everyone else. Yoko violently pushed Simon aside and hugged Kamina's body and began to cry never before and never again would she cry like she did that morning her worst fear had come true and all of her sadness came pouring out. That day Team Dai Gurren won the surface for mankind but in the prosses had lost someone that could never be replaced.
