I decided to write a fanfic about my sunshine calum thomas hood. this is my first story, so excuse me if it's not the best you've ever read. oh and I'm sorry for all the grammatical errors in forward.

prologue ➼ maily
"Are you sure you wanna try it?" Our lips disconnected for a moment. I looked at him attentively until he nodded slightly.
"Yes" he whispered and cupped my face in his large hands. He was really careful and also a bit cautious. His lips touched my bare neck, leaving sweet kisses on my skin. I haven't seen him like this before. It almost seemed like he was scared. Scared of touching me, scared of hurting and dissapointing me. His hands were cold as he gently fondled my back.
"I'm not good at this" he finally admitted. "I mean.. I'm not good at loving."
Calum obviously was thinking too much about this whole loving thing. I knew that it was new to him since he had never loved anyone before. But why was he scared? Love is something natural. It comes your way when you at least expect it to. It surprises you day by day. Maybe that was what he's scared of. Having no control of his feelings.
"Shhh" I interrupted him by kissing him again. The kiss lasted for about a minute. "I know" I whispered as our lips parted. "...but you're doing a good job so far, lover." I tried to to make him feel better and apparently it seemed to work. He smiled at me before pulling me back onto his lap.
"You smell amazing" he murmurred against my exposed skin. Then his lips found their way back to mine. For the first time he was really gentle with me. And I enjoyed it. For the first time he looked at me the way he was always scared to.
He looked at me like he was in love.

okay I don't know what I was thinking while writing the prologue.. it's kinda cheesy, isn't it?
