The heroes went back to the mountain after what happened with the Marionette after Phantom put his suit back. He had the top hat in his room on the nightstand next to his bed, he actually felt better knowing it was there. The team was currently getting ready to go back to the horror attraction but Phantom told them they wouldn't need their disguises.
He finally knew how to stop Springtrap, how to end all of this, and he had the Marionette to thank for the idea. He saw more then the heroes did, all of his memories, and one of them revealed how to stop Springtrap. Phantom was waiting in his room, he was hoping this would be the end, maybe the other kids would be free now.
He eventually heard a knock on his door and when he opened it Robin was standing there. Phantom stepped aside to let him in and Robin walked in, once Phantom closed the door he sat on his bed and Robin sat next to him. They were both silent for a minute before Robin spoke, "You're planning something aren't you?"
Phantom nodded, "This needs to end, the others are stuck here otherwise."
Robin looked at Phantom sadly, "And what about you, you're a part of this too."
Phantom sighed, "But I'm not stuck there, I'm not like them, I'm still half human, I'm still technically alive."
Robin looked away for a second before he held Phantom's hand, "So what are you going to do?"
Phantom stayed quiet for a few seconds, "What I have to." Before Robin could say anything someone knocked on Phantom's door saying that they had to leave. The two got up and they met the others at the zeta tubes, Phantom was a bit surprised to see the Leaguers there but he got over his shock fairly quickly.
The heroes walked to the horror attraction and as soon as Phantom opened the front door something tackled him. The four kids tackled him and he fell to the ground as they hugged him, the kids laughed and Phantom didn't look amused. "Oh ha ha very funny, now get off."
Ben was the only one that got off, the rest refused to move and Amy smiled, "Never."
Phantom glared at them a little, "You have three seconds." He changed his eyes so they were black with white dots and the three immediately got off of him.
Nathan crossed his arms as Phantom got up and dusted his clothes off, "You're no fun."
Phantom smirked and his eyes changed back, "I know, now let's go."
Phantom walked into the attraction and Luke spoke, "So what are we going to do now?"
Phantom took a list out of his pocket, "We need to find this."
The kids looked at what was written on the paper and Ben gave Phantom a confused look, "Are you sure Goldie?"
Phantom nodded, "This has to end."
The kids nodded and Batman spoke, "Hold on, what are you going to do?"
The five looked at each other before their eyes changed and they spoke at the same time, "We're going to burn it."
The heroes looked shocked but the kids ran off before anyone could say anything and Phantom walked away. The heroes didn't know what to do, they knew they should stop them but they couldn't bring themselves to do it. Phantom was right, this had to end, and if burning this place down was the only way to end it then so be it.
The five found all of the flammable substances they could and spread them everywhere, Phantom found gasoline and put it on everything. The heroes waited by the door and at one in the morning the kids appeared, Phantom wasn't far behind. Luke looked at Phantom, Phantom smiled a little and without saying a word they all walked out the front doors.
