Ch. 4 - Jiji

Saki's POV

Training quietly in Training Ground 44, otherwise known as the Forest of Death, I put on black, fingerless gloves and anklets. Then I added elbow warmers and other things. I put a bit of chakra in the accessories, including the gloves, and they had gotten heavy. Heavy by 100 pounds. 'Hey, Sakura, is it possible to add three more chakra to my foreheads and add three more diamonds on my forehead?' I asked.

I think so, I've never tried.

'Okay.' I replied. 'Try storing them to our foreheads, then yours, too. If it's possible.' I felt Sakura nod, and I began to take laps while doing parkour, looking around at the giant creatures and critters that lurked in these parts. Of course, I didn't fight any of them unless they were too agressive. If they weren't, then I would just dodge them. Soon, I felt three more diamonds appear on my forehead. They were small formed in a diamond. 'Sakura, have you found inner yet?'

No.

'Hey, I have an idea.' I told her. 'While we're training, what if I run simulations in your mindscape, so you can train there. Also, let's try you using your chakra while I'm doing something else.'

Oh! Good idea!

Hey, what happened?

'Oh, Inner, you're here.' I said. 'You were dormant in my head for a week.'

Hold on,....Sakura?!?! What are you doing here?!?

Long story short, I summoned Saki here and merged with her.

Why couldn't you do that with me?

Good idea. We can do that now.

'Okay, let me just settle somewhere.' I told the girls and stopped in front of a pond. Then, that same burning feeling erupted again, this time, from all over my body. For some reason, it was dulling on me. Once it was gone, I sighed in relief. It still stung. 'Okay, let's try tree walking. Sakura, you try focusing chakra on my feet, keep it balanced and try not to let me fall. Inner, you try sensing around for chakra while I try hiding my presence and chakra signature.'

Hai.

Alright.

I turned to a tree, then took one step, and felt chakra swirl on the soles of my feet. Suddenly, in my mind, I could see blue lights formed as people. I saw myself, so I focused and shrouded my chakra with my first chakra core. I closed my eyes, and continued walking up the tree. I was wobbling, but then I slipped. I fell on my butt, pouting.

I felt the two Sakuras in my head laughing. 'Okay, okay, now that we know this, let's try this some more, but sepparately before combining it.' I said.

We spent hours training like that, using my imagination to make a training area in my mindscape like the Forest of Death and letting them train on their own there. When the sun was beginning to set, I began to go home and cook dinner for my parents and my little brother who had yet to come home today. Either from school or from work.

Yeah, did I forget to mention I had a little brother? If so, I apologize. I prepared food, and I heard the door open and Ikari shouted in excitement. "Tadaima!!" he shouted.

"Come eat, I just prepared your favorite sushi and ramen." I told Ika with a smile. I ate for a bit before doing the dishes and going upstairs and changing into my pjs. I kept my weights on, getting used to them. 'Sakura, I didn't know you trained with weights when you were young.'

How did you know?

'I was still as weak as before when I woke up in your body.' I told her. 'Your body's state was just like my previous one, flexible because of my karate lessons. When we merged, I seemed to gain Inner's mental strength and resistance, and I gained a lot of strength. I doubt that Inner had all that strength that I gained because I doubt you gave her a chance to work unless you, yourself, worked to get stronger. I also just gained the extra extra strength and mind resistance when we merged with Inner, so I know it's from her. Also, I found these weight things in your drawers.'
