POV Hope

- Hi! - I ran up to Andy and smiled. - Thanks for agreeing to move our meeting. No, meeting sounds too official. Dinner? Whatever, you get me. - I laughed.

- Sure I do. - Andy chuckled. - No problems with that. Mind to tell me why it happened?

- Inside. - I nodded in direction of our restaurant. We walked in - a nice girl greeted us and walked to our table. The atmosphere was cozy and warm: quiet music, a lot of small lights and flowers, no smoke from cigarettes and a lot of people who enjoy their time.

- I really like it here. It was the place where I brought Jane for our third date.

- Third? Buddy, you do have a great memory! I can't always remember where my first one was. - We laughed.

- You will remember every date with the right person. - He wanted to raise a glass, but it was empty. - Excuse me, waiter?

- It was the one after which she started to actually enjoy our time together. - Andy said, drinking his wine.

- I'm so happy for you, guys. You are insanely cute! - Andy smiled gently, obviously thinking about his wife and the kid, he's about to have. - I can't believe you will be a father.

- I know. Me too! - Andy laughed happily. - I'm so scared and excited at the same time!

- You have nothing to worry about. - I cheered him up. - You're gonna be great at this! - I smiled, squeezing his hand.

- Thank you. It really does mean a lot.

- Although, you should read a few books about parenting to be hundred percent sure. - I smiled.

- Yeah. right. - Andy looked around. - Did you notice anything?

- What do you mean? - I asked, looking around.

- It's like there was a flash... Nevermind, it's probably nothing. - Andy shrugged.

- I just hope it's none of those crazy fans who stalk my every move. - I scoffed but then smiled. - Sorry, sounds like I'm so... all about myself.  - I shrugged sheepishly.

- No, no, that's okay. I know what you have to deal with. It can be horrible sometimes. - Andy looked concerned about me. It really warmed my heart, that we've stayed in such a great relationship. I love him - not as my boyfriend, but as one of my dearest friends for sure.

- It really can. You know, one time a fan tried to broke into our car, while we were standing at a traffic light!

- Really? - Andy was very surprised to hear it, so I told him the story quickly.

- I can't believe there are people who do this. She can be a crazy fan, but why lie to everyone, saying what a horrible person her idol is? It leaves you with "crazy" only.

- Right? - I cried out a bit too loud. - But that's not the worst! Sometimes Zoe and Alfie have to deal with fans who wait for them under their house!

- Unbelievable! - Andy exclaimed. I drank wine to moisten my throat.

- Good for you that you don't have to deal with that. Imagine if I still was your girlfriend and some people were waiting outside our house. - I made another sip and then realized I said something I shouldn't have. Andy looked down, cheeks a bit red.

- Andy, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said...

- No, that's... that's okay. - Awkward silence. Good job, Hope.

The waiter finally brought our dishes. He put everything on the table and Andy and I thanked him at the same time.

- You know, I've got that habit from you. - He said, smiling.
