It was another boring, stressful day at school, with the same annoying people that you couldn't stand, you couldn't stand anyone, really. They were always so loud and always distracted from everything, you couldn't stand one bit of them. You always isolated yourself from them so they wouldn't annoy you as much, you sat in the back corner of the room with empty chairs all around you, I guess you could say you were "that one quiet girl in class". At least you were passing, as long as you were bringing home good grades, that's all that mattered. You just couldn't wait to get out of that class. Hell, you couldn't wait to get out of the whole school. You just wanted to graduate already. You heard college was like 10 times worse than high school, but you thought as long as those annoying stupid heads aren't in the same room with you, it should be just fine.
You continued to focus on your work, only about 45 minutes left in class. You were nearly done with all your work when all of a sudden, you heard the door open from behind you, but you minded your own business, focusing on your work. You heard a couple people say, "Who is he?", and some of them you heard gasp. You turned around since you thought it couldn't hurt. But it did, it hurt so beautifully. You watched him walk all the way to the empty seat next to you, he looked you up and down, then to your eyes, "Hi, my name is Minghao, what's yours?" He said with the softest, most angelic voice. "M-my name is Y/N." You could never control that stupid stutter of yours when talking to new people. You both looked into each other's eyes for a couple seconds until the teacher called him up to the front of the classroom to introduce himself. He had these big eyes and his hair was fascinating, his fringe fell over his eyes just perfectly. His stance and his height and the way he walked, you admired all those things. His angelic voice and his aura, how heavenly. You shooed all these thoughts away for you've never thought about someone like this before and proceeded to finish your work. Once you finished, Minghao arrived to the front of the room and began to introduce his fine self, you held onto your completed paper anxiously and waited until he was done. "Hello, my name is Xu Minghao, I'm a foreign exchange student from China, I'm so happy to meet you all." He said with the happiest smile. Everyone in the class, except for you, tiredly replied to his introduction with the laziest and longest "Hiiiiiii Minghaoooo.." Upon hearing those elongated words, the teacher ushered Minghao to go have a seat.
He went to go sit down where he initially sat when he first walked in, a faint blush on your face was visible. You felt a tap on your shoulder which made you flinch slightly, "Y/N, are you okay?" You looked up at him and waved it off, signaling that you're fine. You got up and turned your completed paper in, only to be given yet another activity sheet to fill out. You sighed as you walked back to your desk miserably. You slumped in your seat and proceeded to finish the dumb paper in front of you. You felt another tap on your shoulder and looked Minghao in the eye, "May I help you?" you asked him. "The real question is, may I help you?" You slightly blushed and held back a smile then turned back to your paper, "No thanks Minghao, I think I'll be fine." He hummed slightly in response.
Halfway through your paper, you felt another tap on your shoulder. Gripping your pencil tightly and saying through a smile with gritted teeth, "Yes Minghao?" "Sorry, I was just wondering what you do for fun?" Minghao asked. You calmed yourself and replied with another question, "Hey, do you want to hang out after school?" He looked at you with a surprised face. "Sure, where and when?" "I have a car, I can take you to my house and we can study there since you wanted to help just then, hopefully your parents won't mind having a friend bring you to their house." You replied. "I don't think they'd min-" Minghao got cut off, "Okay that's great!" You quickly said as you finished answering the last couple questions and turning in your paper.
You sat at your desk for just a few minutes, anticipating the bell. Once you heard the shrilling ring of that damned bell, everyone quickly got up out of their seats and headed for the door. You would've gotten to the door first if Minghao hadn't run up to you, calling your name. "Y/N wait for me! I need help getting to my next class." He handed you his schedule and he had every single class you had, same bell and everything. "Good news, we both have the exact same schedules, just follow me around the school, I'll give you a mini tour on the way." you replied. Once you turned around, Minghao put his hand on your shoulder to keep up with you. You blushed just a bit but ignored the hand. How could someone have such looks and manners but still be annoying? You thought anybody who has ever thought of talking to you was annoying, but there was something about Minghao that was different. His annoyance was different, like you didn't want him to stop annoying you with the questions and shoulder tapping. You didn't know how you felt about him, you rarely have feelings for anyone, you sighed and thought to yourself, this is gonna be a long ass day.
