Airport

     The week had gone by so quickly, you went out every day with Minghao and made the best out of it, even if you didn't have money to go out, you still did, the happiest moments of your life were always spent with him. It was the last day he was with you, he had to be at the airport in an hour. Immense sadness came over you, as you realized he really had to leave. It was only for a year, but you felt like it'd last forever, the longest year of your life. You were spread out on your bed, thinking about what it'd be like without him, ever since he came, you had completely forgotten about your life before he showed up. It's like whatever happened before he showed up in that classroom had never happened.

     "Come on, Y/N, it's time to drive them over to the airport." Your mom knocked at your open door. You simply nodded and dragged yourself out of bed, slipping your shoes on and heading out to the car, Minghao was already sitting in the back seat with Jun. You slipped in and lay your head on his shoulder, your fingers slipping between his instantly. "I'm gonna miss you.." "I'm gonna miss you too, Y/N." He planted a small kiss on your forehead. As soon as everyone got in the car, you all hit the road, the drive was about 20 minutes but it felt like 20 seconds. Why does time pass by so fast when I'm with you..

     You helped carry the suitcases to the gate, you stood there with Minghao, waiting for the others to come with the last of the suitcases. You looked up at him and he looked down at you, tears were already formed at his eyes. "I'm really gonna miss you, Y/N, but I promise to call you every night before you go to sleep, I don't care what's keeping me busy." The more he talked, the more your heart hurt, you gave him the biggest hug you ever gave him, your stupid tears staining his shirt. You couldn't talk, whenever people talk while they cry, it makes them sound stupid, so you didn't want to make a fool of yourself the last couple moments you had with him.

     Someone else hugged you from behind, you felt more people add onto the hug, you don't think you've ever felt this emotional before. Everyone released from the hug simultaneously. It was time for them to head for the gate to get their luggage checked and all that. You wished you could have taken the time to talk to their parents more, they seemed like nice people. You wished you could have taken the time to know more about Jun, he was the funniest out of all of you combined. Minghao took his suitcases and began to walk towards the gate. He turned back, feeling like he had to do something more before he left. He walked over to you and kissed you deeply, time only seemed to freeze whenever he kissed you. "I love you.. My I." He whispered, and with that, he left.

     On the way home, all you could think about was why you didn't say you loved him too and what "My I" meant. You felt empty, you felt like you didn't spend enough time with him even though you got in trouble this past week with your parents because you were going out too much. You laughed to yourself a bit at the thought. Once you arrived home, you went straight to your room and got on your laptop, the "My I" thing still stuck in your head. Maybe it's something in Chinese.. You went over to Google Translate and put the word "love" in, it was the first word you could think of. It gave you a character which was pronounced "Ài". My love.. My love? He called me his love? You don't know why, but for some reason, the lingering pain in your heart was gone, all you could think about were his last words he left you.. I love you.. My I..

A/N:

Short ass shitty ass chapter but oh well. When I first named this book I had no idea that My I meant "my love" until the 3rd chapter?? But yeah, I kinda like how the name of the story fit even though I had no idea what it meant at all OOPS we love perfect accidents. But yeah, I hope you all enjoyed this story. I'll have another one coming up soon :)))))) I might add a short little bonus chapter just because :):):):)

Also the dog from the beginning made no appearances whatsoever idk why I wanted a dog in the story if I wasn't going to include it, I might rewrite just for the sake of the puppy uwu
