     Your alarm blaring that same old noise, you woke up and did you morning routine. When you sat down at the breakfast table, you felt weird. You couldn't stop thinking about what happened yesterday with Minghao. The moment kept replaying in your head, you didn't expect him to kiss you at all. Why am I all over it? It was just a kiss on the cheek, nothing bad at all, you thought to yourself. Maybe I really do have a crush on him, crushes don't last forever, it'll all be over soon Y/N, you tried calming yourself down, you didn't know what to do with these feelings, all you cared about was getting good grades and getting out of school. But now you've started caring for Minghao and you didn't want him to get in the way of everything. He wasn't at the moment, but you feel one day he will be. As you reached for another spoonful of mushy, soggy cereal and milk and lifted your spoon to your mouth, there was nothing on the spoon, at least you finished.

     It was almost time for Jun and Minghao to come knocking at your door for another ride to school. You didn't mind since they weren't as annoying as the other kids at school. You opened the door and you found Minghao and Jun right at your door, his fist a couple of inches away from what would have been the door. "I knew you'd come right about now." You said lazily, a smile barely visible on your face. The brothers walked in and sat at the table, talking about what they did over the weekend. Jun talked about what he studied and Minghao told him that I took him to the mall to buy some clothes and all that. Thank God he didn't slip and tell him about what happened in the car. You were anxiously sweating the whole conversation. By the time Minghao finished talking, it was time to leave.

Time Skip

     It was after school, Minghao dragged you to some nearby water fountain, he said he needed to tell you something. "What is it?" You asked him, waiting patiently, yet, nervously for what he had to say. His sparkling dark eyes met yours, "Y/N, I'm really sorry I gave you that kiss the other day.." He said as his head hung low and he stared at the ground. "I felt like it wasn't the time but it did at the same time, I'm sorry if I left you confused or anything." You put your hand on his shoulder and laughed just a bit, "You're apologizing for a kiss? Minghao, it's okay, I didn't expect it but I didn't hate it, stop acting like you killed my dog or something, you silly." You said, laughing a bit more. Minghao laughed awkwardly. You saw, from behind Minghao, Jun turning the corner, "There you guys are, I've been looking for you everywhere!" He exclaimed as he walked closer to the both of you. "Sorry Jun, Minghao had to apologize for something, he's so silly." You said smiling. "Come on, lets go get Starbucks or something." Jun said as all three of you walked to the parking lot.

     You all walked into the Starbucks and ordered your drinks, talking about upcoming exams and all that. Report cards were coming up, so you had to work hard and keep your grades as high as possible, you didn't want to disappoint your parents. If you came back home with bad grades, they might think you're being distracted by a certain someone. So, you made sure to study regularly and possibly retake any tests/quizzes you weren't satisfied with grade-wise. Your orders got called out and you three went up to the counter to pick them up, then sit back down. Minghao was sitting next to you, pretty closely, while Jun was sitting on the other side of the table. You've noticed Minghao was very clingy, he liked being close to you or just barely touching you. You thought it was cute. His thigh was brushing against yours as he bounced his leg up and down, a faint blush appeared on your face as all three of you talked while sipping on your drinks. Your finger tips tapped nervously on the table as you tried to keep calm. All of a sudden, you felt Minghao's hand splay over your thigh, slightly gripping it, almost like he was trying to calm you down. And it seemed to fail and do the complete opposite as you let out a little squeal. He quickly snatched his hand off your thigh as both him and Jun looked at you, concerned looks on both faces. Your face looked sunburnt as you excused yourself to the washroom.
