(Violet's P.O.V)

They say life is unexpected. This is the best sentence to describe mine. Three hours ago I was still in Justin's bed, but now I'm stacking tuna cans in Susan And Jack's Grocery Store. I guess this is life. If I fail once again to find a better job, I'm going to be stuck here for the rest of this summer.

I've been stacking tomato cans to tuna cans for the past hours, my hands are aching so badly I can use a break. CURSE YOU CRUEL LIFE. This grocery store is useless. I wonder why is it even still going on business.

I could not help thinking about last night. Justin's smooth hair, muscular thighs, soft lips, great eyes----

"AS LONG AS YOU LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL------"

Fuck. There goes my ringtone. Annoyed, I take out my phone from my breast pocket and press the green button hastily.

"Hello?" I say, not even bothering to ask who is it.

"Vi?" Justin's smooth voice came into my ear. "I thought I'd give you a call, you know. Just to make sure. I was shocked no one was beside my bed when I woke up."

"You don't expect me to stay all day, do you? I sneaked out from the back door quite successfully." I say, glad it was Justin.

"I HEAR TALKING!" Susan, my boss growled from the store room. She must have thought I'm chatting with Ellie, my roommate who also works in the store with me. She is so, so, so stupid. Ellie isn't here today, she had her lift off to study biology, which results to me stacking her cans all morning.

"IT'S MY MOM ON THE PHONE!" I shout back irritatingly as I place the phone beside my ear again.

"At Susan's now?" Justin asks, already knowing the answer.

"Obviously. Ellie's staying at home today, I have to do her part." I sigh.

"Aww...Poor Violet," he snickers

I fake a laugh. "Real funny. This place is a living hell."

"Next time, resign," he pauses and I think I heard him breathing. Loudly. "And I was going to ask you if you wanna come over tomorrow night?"

Whoa. I did not see that coming. It's a big deal, him inviting me over his place, because most of the time Selena's visiting, or his mom is at home. Visits to his house like yesterday's is risky. We never know if Selena will suddenly turn up or his mom will be back home before we know it. I stood still, hardly breathing, then realized he's probably expecting for an answer. "Oh. Okay, sure!" I say with a wide grin on my face.

"See you at 7."

"Kay, bye."

Susan suddenly appears out of nowhere, standing in front of me. Talk about being a creep!

"I don't think that's you mother." She sinckered in her annoying British accent.

"Of course it's my mom! Who else would it be?" I say.

Yeah right. It was Justin Bieber.
