Not being able to see the boy very well, Hiccup squinted tighter, straining all his focus on him. Toothless thrashed his head around widely, trying to get Hiccups' attention. But no use. He was too engulfed in trying to see the flying boy. "Calm down!" Hiccup sneered, breaking away from his glance, but too late, Toothless collided full on into a large rock wall.
Hiccups' head crashed into the wall, knocking him out instantly. Toothless desperately tried to grasp onto the rock.
No use. His claws scratched and scraped but didn't hook onto anything. Descending further and further down, Toothless screeched out, flapping his wings around wildly.
The flying boy, who was watching everything unfold, bit his lip in anxiety, he rushed after the nightfury, whipping out his staff and flying faster and faster after them. He slashed his staff down, sending sparks of frost and snow down to the ground beneath Toothless. And finally, a crash was sent to the ground into the thick pile of snow.
The flying boy ran over to the cloud of misty frost, set abyss from the crash. His eyes sparkled as they set onto the pile of snow. He walked near it, pushing some of it out of the way. "Hello?" He called out. His voice was deep, stern even, but it couldn't reach Hiccups ears that were buried underneath the thick, heavy snow.
After a minute of two of pushing through snow, the boy finally set his eyes upon the passed out Viking, he was covered in frost and his fake metal leg was underneath Toothless. The boy had always seen Vikings on Berk, but never got near them, knowing they wouldn't see him.
Frowning at the sight of him, the boy tapped Hiccups' forehead, frosting it a bit. "Hey, wake up, ya idiot." He said, tapping him again. No use, he wouldn't budge. Finally, he grabbed Hiccups' arm and pulled, releasing him from under the weight of the large dragon.
The boy sat Hiccup against a large rock, then sat in front of him, tapping his forehead once again.
Hiccups' eyelids slowly opened, revealing his dark brown almond shaped eyes. He blinked a few times, turning his head slowly to one side, then turning to the other. Seeing only snow, he looked in front of him at the mysterious boy.
He had white hair, like the fallen snow. His eyes were bright blue, reveling a snowflake-like pattern in them. The staff he had used while he was flying was next to him, Hiccup looked down at it, seeing the familiar curved portion at the end; it had streaks of bright blue-ish-white in it, as though it had ice within it.
He pointed down to it, his hand shaky. He arched his eyebrow and asked, or seemed more like a croak, "What is that?"
The white haired boy looked at him strangely, a bit flustered, "That?" He asked, pursing his lips from confusion. "That's a stick, isn't it obvious?" He added, scratching his head.
"Well, yeah." Said Hiccup, irritably. "But why do you use it to fly?"
Grinning at the question, the boy picked up his staff, and held it on his lap. "It's magical." He said, poking Hiccups forehead, "More than that 'ol dragon of yours, I see."
Frowning slightly, Hiccup looked at the white haired boy, "It's just a stick.." He muttered out, looking away.
