"Well, Viking man, what's your name?" The boy asked, arching an eyebrow.

"Hiccup,"

"Excuse you."

"Er ー what?" Hiccup asked, bewildered by his interruption.

"Well, you hiccuped, I'm just trying to be polite." He replied, looking at Hiccup weirdly.

"Eh ー no, that's my name. It's Hiccup." He said, quite annoyed at this point.

"Oh!" The boy said, almost shouting. He laughed, patting Hiccups' shoulder. "I'm Jack."

"Jack?" Hiccup asked. He hadn't met a Jack before on Berk, or anywhere in that fact. He had simply heard of the snow spirt, Jack Frost. But, could it be?

"Yes, Jack. Jack Frost." He repeated, sticking out his hand for a shake.

"But, Jack Frost is a myth." Hiccup said, astounded by the boy.

But, Jack wasn't a boy. He looked to be a bit younger than Hiccup, maybe seventeen or eighteen. His jacket was a dark blue, with streaks of what looked to be frost in it, and his hair, well, his hair was white like before. But Hiccup could see it was wild and untamed, as tho it had never been brushed down the slightest bit.

"I'm in front of you aren't I? So how can I be 'just a myth'?" Asked Jack, arching his eyebrow to Hiccup. He was always annoyed when people talked about him being just a myth.

"Well, er ー I guess not.." Hiccup finally muttered out.

After a few odd minutes of awkward silence, Jack finally spoke out. "So, why were you following me?"

Silence.

Hiccup didn't even know what made him follow Jack.

He stared at the white haired boy, biting his lip in thought.

"Well?" Asked Jack, arching his eyebrow, starting to get annoyed by Hiccup.

A minute passed, time seemed just to get longer as the brunette stared at Jack.

He found him... Attractive? Why? He was a man. Hiccup wasn't sure why he felt a sort of ー sickness ー in his stomach. As tho he was nervous to do something stupid.

He started to sweat, Jacks' white hair seemed to shine in the falling snow, his eyes glimmered, giving Hiccup even more nerves.

Jack stayed silent, he lowered his eyebrow, just starting to stare at the young man. Noticing Hiccup start to sweat, Jack just looked unamused. All tho, he thought it looked quite cute. Wait ー cute? What? Why would he think of Hiccup ー a Viking man ー cute?

Jack pondered on the idea, he frowned slightly. Then looking directly into his eyes, he stared. He had never seen such magnificent brown ー no, they weren't just brown ー they were dark green that turned into a polish brown, then into his perfectly round raven black pupils.

Jack stared, his mouth set slightly agape.

"Uh ー" Hiccup started, breaking the perfect silence. "I was ー er ー I was following you because, well, er ー I saw you uh, flying, and, er ー well, I don't see many flying people without dragons..." He said, sweating even more from Jack staring at him.

As tho reality had smacked him in the face, Jack closed his mouth abruptly, feeling a bit awkward. "Oh, I suppose that makes sense." He muttered out, trying to look away, but for some reason, his eyes didn't want too.
