"You stay close, understood?" Phil cautioned, though Dan wasn't planning on letting go of Phil's hand unless he absolutely had no choice. Dan nodded filling his lungs up with air as they step towards the group.

Dodie could smile with her eyes, the crinkles of happiness gave away every emotion there was in a grin.

Their feet came to a stop and almost immediately she started gushing. "God Phil! He's so adorable I just can't get over it!"

Dan giggled, crossing his arms over his chest as he examined everyone coming closer. Phil stood over him.

Felix fixed his gaze on Dan, laughing along with Dodie. He took out the red lolli in his mouth then stuck out his right hand for Dan to shake; which he complied. "So you're the one everybody's talking about, hm?" Felix says with a slight laugh.

Giving a half shrug, Dan shot a half-hearted smile. "I-I don—I guess so."

Felix chuckled staring at him with a gleam of happiness in his eyes. "Well, any pet of Phil's is a friend of mine," He then laughed loudly making Dan smile without a word. "Y'know, you're pretty lucky that your daddy is in a gang because you've got all of us behind you if anyone tried to hurt you." He then pushed his hand into his front pocket, digging around for something. "Sucker?" He asked holding out a lollipop for Dan to take.

Phil grinned, a laugh sitting in his throat as he watched Dan hesitate to take the candy. "Go ahead, pumpkin." He consented placing his hand on Dan's shoulder.

Mark then made his way up to the lolita. "Jeez Pewds, way to smother the boy," Mark said kneeling down to Dan's level. "Hello love, I'm Mark. Lollipop sucker behind me is Felix. I believe you're little Dan, right?"

"Mhm." Dan answered attentively with a nod. He swung his arms, standing in place whilst Mark continued.

Mark's lips turned up. "Well, I've heard all good things about you, and really glad you came today."

Dan shrugged his shoulders, a smile glued to his face. "Yeah! I wrelly wanted to meet everyone—"

"Well, isn't that just sweet," PJ's words went sharp into the air adverting everyone's attention to him as he took slow subtle steps towards Dan. He looked up from twiddling his whetted knife between his calloused palms. "Did you forget me, sweetheart? Aren't I a part of everyone?"

Dodie let out a exasperated sigh, pressing her lips together, shaking her head. "Always. He always has to interrupt."

Phil raked his hand through his hair, pushing the his midnight sky into a quiff. He looked up at Peej, then gently pressed his hand into Dan's back resting it on his small hip; making sure he had him close.

Dan felt the tension ride into the air between each gang member. Ignoring it, he laughed dismissively waving his hand. "Of course I didn't forget you," Dan gazed around at everyone, as they all eyed Phil's curly-haired boy in slight astonishment. "And of course you're part of everyone, you're a part of this gang, right?"

Peej shrugged with a laugh. "Yeah, I guess." He walked closer to the group of members; everyone shocked.

Dan giggled softly holding out his hand to PJ. "Hello, I'm Danny. You scared me the first time we met so we're starting over." Dan smiled shaking Peej's hand.

Laughing with a slight sneer, PJ pulled away. "Oh sweetheart," He looked up at Phil, who still kept his fingers curled around Dan's waist. "There's no point in starting over." He murmured in a throaty voice.

And with that, PJ turned around and walked away into a back room of the warehouse.
