After that heavenly day, they were more closer than ever.

Lunch dates happened all the time, and coffee dates while listening to music, sharing earphones, the left one for Troye and the right one for Jacob. Or sometimes they just went to Jacob's house and chill until it's time for Troye to leave, or just stayed the night.

Conversations weren't always necessary — in fact they both liked the silence but with each other's presence.

Today, Jacob was going to introduce Troye to his friends, Tyler, Justin, Chad, and Rose. Technically Rose isn't in the gang but because she was Chad's girlfriend, she clung to him wherever he went. Which was fine, but sometimes it's boys talk and Rose would just sit there awkwardly. But she's generally really nice and friendly to hang out with.

Anyway, Jacob's friends had a massive impact on Jacob, for they were the really supportive ones who held him while he came out.

During the bus ride to the cafe where they were meeting, Troye looked really nervous.

"What if your friends don't like me?" Troye asked again.

"Relax, Troye. It's not like you're seeing my parents now. But just relax and be yourself. Then it'll be fine," Jacob reassured him.

But still, throughout the ride, Troye kept fiddling his fingers. So he grabbed Troye hand and entwined their fingers, not caring if people stared.

Then, with his heart beating quickly, he planted a quick kiss on Troye's hand, and acted as though that one simple motion didn't make him fall in love with Troye more. He acted as though his heart wasn't about to fall out of his chest from nervousness and love.

And he tried to make his smile that broke out from his love for Troye a reassuring-him-about-meeting-his-friends smile.

Meanwhile Troye smiled and blushed a deep scarlet, and looked away, biting his lip. Jacob smiled even more at this.

"Soo, you must be Troye that Jacob keeps talking about," Rose said, smiling while they approached the table. Jacob rolled his eyes while Troye snickered. They sat down.

"So Troye, this is Tyler, Chad, Rose, and Justin," all of them smiled and waved and muttered "hi" and "hey" to Troye. "And everyone, meet Troye," said Jacob.

"Hi everyone," said Troye, smiling at Jacob's friends.

"Well what would you like to have, Troye?" Chad asked.

"Oh, um one chocolate and strawberry milkshake please," said Troye.

"Two of them," Jacob said.

Chad nodded and went to the counter to order the drinks.

"So Troye, do you have a job?" Justin asked. Just a random question to break the ice.

Troye then said yes he works for the coffee shop next door and then the Chad came back and the music topic came and everyone talked at ease about their favorite songs.

Jacob and Troye's drinks arrived and they drank and talked and shared about their opinions about things and occasionally cracks joke or two and then came to a joke cracking competition. And Troye feels so safe and so like home when he's talking to Jacob's friends and he wants to spend time with them forever.

Too soon, evening came and they parted, promising to meet again after the exams.

Soon after, it was just Troye and Jacob strolling the streets in the night.

Suddenly Troye asked, "Do you want to come over to mine? Like since I've been to yours so many times."

Jacob gladly nodded. "But isn't your roommate home?"

"Yes but he's out with his friends probably until morning," said Troye.

So they both went to Troye's home.
