"The Superman?" She tilted her head in confusion
"What? No! Well he is but-nevermind." He really wasn't in the mood to explain.
"Well if that is all, then I suppose I should be on my way." She gather all her stuff and began walking the opposite direction from Jon.
"W-wait! Where are you going!? He called out to her in a frantic tone. She couldn't just go! He had so many questions!
Martha looked back at him. "I will find a hotel or shelter for tonight. We will discuss things tomorrow, if that is fine."
The space between them was to far. This was his DAUGHTER! He should be doing something right? He can just let her go by herself! It's not that he doesn't think she can't take care of herself, she prove it back then during the fight, it's that she was the only person who had answers to all of his questions. Plus, it was raining! What if she got sick while walking to look for shelter? Jon could never leave a child all alone. His blood or not.
"Why don't you come back with me to my home? You can live their untill Dami- er your mom comes to get you?" You could tell by the way her stance straightens she looked excited.
"YES! I mean... Of course, I do not see why not father." Jon left out a chuckle, it would be nice to get to know his daughter right? Wonder if she likes noodles...
"Well c'mon!" He started to reach for the sky only to find Marthas feet on the ground, "Whats a matter? Hasn't Dami- YOUR MOM, mom, mom... Hasn't your mom teach you to fly? You are half kryptonian, well 25% at least..." He commented with a unsurely smile. Could she even have powers? I mean she had to, right?
"I'm sorry to be a disappointment father, but i do not think i have any powers. I did not wish to bring such shame." She point her head down.
"Hey, don't worry! We can figure this out. You're with me now! I can help you out!" Jon looked down at the girl hesitantly, showing a nervous smile.
"But how will we make it to our destination?"
"Hop on my back."
