Danny X Geeky!reader

    To put it shortly, you were the greatest thing that ever happened to him. Ever since you two were little, you always followed your own heart. Despite the constant harassing and bullying, it never dwindled your hope and enthusiasm. It was something Danny looked up to tremendously, even years later.

   "Danny! Come quick!" You called digging through the dump where many things from many different parts of the Wankerverse were discarded without much thought. It was something you and Danny loved to do, as he'd try looking for any spare parts for his mechanical builds. "Y/N what's up?" He answered making his way over to your eager face. "I found some old DVDs of that movie series I've been fond of! Oh I'm so glad I found these!"

He smiled lightly at your joyous expression looking at this disc and thought for a moment. "Remind me again what those are?" He inquired as you looked over at him. "Oh! DVDs are quite simple really, you put the disc in and they used to play it on simple televisions, not at all like the ones we have now." As you explained the discs, Danny nodded his head a bit. "Can I borrow those?" He simply asked causing you to raise your eyebrows a bit. "Yes of course but why?" At first he noticed your curious and concerned expression, but smiled and kissed your temple in assurance. "Trust me babe." He simply said leading you back to the hover car to go on home.

For almost three days now, Danny had been preoccupied in his lab. You didn't know why, as no one in the hideout would tell you. "It's a surprise Y/N, trust me." Wallow said patting your back lightly. It wasn't until that moment when your communication device suddenly beeped displaying the recent message you had received. "Well, that's my queue to go." Smiling, you made your way to his room knocking on the door lightly.

"Come on in beautiful!" He called from inside his room. You blushed lightly at the compliment before pressing the button for his door. As soon as it opened fully, you saw a decent sized TV with a tiny DVD player to the side. "Danny! Oh my goodness!" You were in pure awe at the sight, turning your attention to Danny. "Well, I figured you wanted something to play those Discs on...so, yeah." He explained sheepishly as his cheeks became tinted red.

"Oh Danny thank you so so much!" You exclaimed running towards him engulfing him in a big hug. Despite your short stature, the hug was super comfortable. "It's nothin'...really." A bit taken back by the hug, he became quite flustered but quickly warmed up to the hug holding you close. "You wanna watch them?" He quietly asked still giving you the hug you initiated. "Oh more than anything!" You said pulling away looking at him in the eyes. "Alright, just sit back as I get these set up."

   After the setup, both of you cuddled close in his room eyes intent on the film presented in front of you. Even both of your sticker pets were out and about sleeping soundly next to each other, his dog curled up around your snake keeping it warm and toasty. "Danny?" You softly asked still looking at the movie. "Yeah?," You smiled a bit leaning closer to him closing your eyes. "Thank you." Danny could feel his heart well up with joy at the sudden thankfulness. He didn't need to impress anyone popular to feel accomplished, making the most unique girl happy and content was his greatest reward. Smiling widely, he wrapped his arm around you. "Anytime Y/N."
