I was upset to leave Tyrone there, probably sitting there until he could get up. He wanted to stay there, so I left him. It's killing me. I keep telling myself that's what he wanted, but it doesn't work. I still feel bad.

I walk back to where Alex said we were going to meet up, but when I look up I just see Brittany sitting down on a rock looking bored.

"About time you showed." She tells me while still looking at the ground.

"What happened?" I ask her "Where is everybody?"

"I have no idea." Is all she manages to say. I don't know what to say to her. I get so angry it takes all I can do not to yell at her.

"How do you now know? You were here the whole time!"

That's where you're wrong, Butt wipe." She says, finally looking at me. "Alex told me to look for you since you were taking so long, so I did. I come back and I don't see anyone. I waited for you until looking for anyone else. Your welcome. Now can we get going?"

I stand there thinking. Did they leave us? Why would they? Was having kids too much work? No, that can't be. Alex wouldn't let them leave us. So, I finally decide on my answer.

"Yeah." I tell her with confidence in my voice. "Let's go."

Brittany gets up and starts walking. While we're walking, all I can think about is what if they did leave us? I have to keep reminding myself that Alex would never leave us. He had to have been forced to leave.

'Wait a second.' I think in my mind. 'He was forced to!'

Brittany and I both freeze in our tracks. Did she just think of that too? That's when I notice that we stopped for different reasons. There's a robots surrounding us.

"Put your hands up." One of them says. I shiver. His robotic voice is clear and loud.

I half expect Brittany to say something smart back at them but, she reluctantly puts her hands up. If she can do it, so can I. So, even though there's some pain in my shoulder I put mine up.

"Good." He says not less creepier at all. I turn and see an opening. When I see it, the only thing stopping me from running is the bullet wound in my shoulder. I don't want to feel that pain again. I'm too scared to.

A bunch of thoughts go in my head if I don't go. The biggest one I think of is Sarah. This is for Sarah. For Sarah. I have to do this for her. I'm about to run when I remember Brittany standing next to me. Even though she hasn't been the nicest person to me, I still have to warn her.

"Opening." I whisper to her.

"What?" She whispers back to me.

"Opening. To your left." I say pointing my head to where the opening is.

Without even looking, she dashes to the left catching me and the robots off guard. I don't know what I expected her to do. I thought at least she would have looked at it first.

After I get over my surprise, I run right behind her. I hope that I'm not too late. I hear a gun shot and I prepare for a bullet to go through my head, but I see something else. The bullet is headed towards Brittany.

It's like it was going in slow motion. I watched as the bullet was slowly going towards Brittany. I don't know why I did this. It may have been stupid, but it was my instinct. I jump in front of her.

I fall on the floor screaming after the bullet hits my side. I don't know what it hit, but it hurts. I'm on the floor screaming in pain as my vision starts to go blurry. I never wanted to feel this pain again, but this time it's worse.

My eyes sight gets blurrier the second while I hold my hand to my side, covered with blood. The last thing I hear is Brittany shout my name and then bullets before I knock out.
