Step 1: open a picture
Step 2: make a copy of the picture (control + j) and make in the copy layer the *selection. You can make the original invisible. That's just there to know where to paint if you need to paint something back.
Step 3: mask it
Step 4: go to refine mask and play around with the settings until you're happy with it
Step 5: make sure the background is transparent and save it as a PNG*I use the quick selection tool (w) in the video, but you can also use the pen tool or the lasso tool.
In the video you can see my video process. I wasn't very exact in the video because I could only record five minutes, normally it takes me between 5 to 9 minutes.
Ps: does someone know a better screen recorder than the one I used? I'm not really happy with the current one.
