Here's a collection of random tips that hopefully will help you
1. Do tutorials
This one is really important. I have learned a lot from tutorials on youtube & wattpad. It's also a way to try out different styles & learn about different tools. Some good YouTube tutorial accounts:

rafy A2. Practice, practice & practice more
A cliché tip, but practicing really helps. If you want to get good at something you need to invest time in it. I wouldn't be surprised if the time I've spent editing since May 2018 is more than 100 hours.3. Download a resources
Get many, many pictures on your device. For example png's (which are also handy for head swaps) textures, backgrounds etc.4. Watch speedart video's
Honestly these video's are really educational. Personally I've learned quite a lot from them.5. Make a graphic book on wattpad if you haven't already
You get to meet new people, make friends, learn, get tips & motivation. I promise you that I think you won't regret it.6. Know your tools
If you don't know what a tool does, just search it on internet. I found out rather late about the dodge & burn tool, which I really regret and could have been avoided if I just tested it all out & searched some tools.7. download fonts
Having many fonts is so important (at least for me). Before I found out how to download fonts I could never find a perfect font, and since I've began downloading fonts this problem is almost completely away!amazing font book
