When I first started editing one of the first things I learned was how to change an eyecolor. It's really easy & there are many ways to do it.
Blend modes
Personally, I prefer using blend modes when I'm changing eye colors. Brush with a soft brush a color on an empty layer over the eye & choose a blend mode. I recommend soft light, overlay, hue & color dodge (sometimes with color dodge you need to turn down the opacity a bit for it too look better).Adjustments
You can also use adjustments to change eye colors quite easy. You only have to make a selection & then choose the adjustment (I recommend hue/saturation) you wanna play with.Tip!
After changing the eyecolor, make a bit of the eye white (on a new layer) with a soft brush & put the blend mode on overlay. Lower the opacity if necessary & if the edges are too visible blur them. This will make your eye look a lot better.Videoprocess:
Picture tutorial (with picsart):
Step 1: Open up a picture2. Go to draw
Step 3: choose a color, and brush over the iris with a soft brush
Step 4: put the blend mode on overlay or soft light, and change the opacity to your liking
Step 6: Brush (on a new layer)with a white soft brush over the eyes as I've done in the picture
Step 6: put the blend mode on soft light or overlay, and change the opacity to your liking
