Hey guys and gals, I remembered I had copied this story in a google doc and was relieved to find I still had the doc. I didn't have a small bit of it, but something is better that nothing right? So here is chapter 5.

(Draco's PoV)

(Earlier that week)

I was sure I had heard my parents wrong. How can this be possible?

"Is there a reason that I'm only being told about this now?"

"You are already eighteen. A Veela will mature on or after their eighteenth birthday." My mother said. My head swam. I sat on one of the couches by the unlit fireplace.

"Is there anything else I need to know about my new life?" I asked.

"Yes. You have heightened hearing, sight, smell, and strength. You will need to find and mark your mate before the new year. Otherwise you will die." My father says. Great. Now I die if i don't find and mark my 'mate' before the new year. Whoop-de-do.

"Draco, son, do you have any questions?" My mother asked me.

"No. But I will need some time to process this information. I'm heading to bed. Night Mother. Night Father." I said ask I got up and started walking to my room. I had just reached the top of the stairs as shot of pain ripped across my chest. I doubled over with pain. Another wave of pain spread throughout my body and I hit the floor. My parents were by my side in seconds. The last thing I remember were my parents telling me everything was ok. 'Yeah right.' I thought as I passed out.

(Back to the Present)

(Hermione's PoV)

"MINE!!" Draco and Blaise yelled at the same time. Their eyes turned pure black as they looked at us. I looked at Ginny as they started reaching for us. I gave her a look that clearly said 'run' and she got the message. I waited and nodded my head and we both got up and started running towards the others. Once we got there, Draco and Blaise calmed down. I turned to them.

"Would you two care to tell me and Ginny why you yelled mine and started tickling us?"

"Tickling you guys seemed like a good idea at the time. Now that I think about it, it was a stupid idea seeing as you can do so much to us with just your words. Never mind your wand."

"And the yelling?" At this, Draco looked at Blaise with a surprised look.

"We have no recollection of yelling." Blaise said, either ignoring Draco's look or not noticing it.

"Really? Draco looks like he knows what is going on." I say matter-of-factly. Blaise looked at

Draco and saw the look on his face. I guess he didn't see it earlier.

"Do you?"

"No." he said, a little to quickly.

"Really?" Gin asked. I guess she didn't believe him either.

"I'm sure." he replied. I still don't believe him, but I decide to drop it for now.

"I'm going to go get some snacks. Gin, Pans, Daph, Atsy wanna come help?"

"Yeah." they all replied.
