"No."

"Please! (Y/n)!"

"Vylad! If you want to go on this honeymoon then go on your own! Clearly, you don't want to protect your daughter!!!"

"I do! I very much do! But it's just we can trust our friends and family to take care of her! They'll not leave her 24/7!"

I turned away from him and crosse my arms. I am not happy over his attitude.

I felt his hands on my shoulder, but I shrug them off. "Maybe you should think twice on what you just said. Cause to me, it sounds like you don't love and care for your daughter."

I turn to go upstairs, leaving Vylad in the living room. I head up to Maya's room and check to see her sleeping peacefully.

I sat down on the chair next to the crib and held her tiny little hand.
"Don't worry, mama won't ever leave you....."

*Riinnggg*

I quickly answered my phone.

"Hello?"

"Hey bestie!"

"Mark Tuan..."

"The one and only. Hey how you been?"

"Okay I guess...."

"Well then I guess you're not fine. Listen I know what happened in the wedding was something terrifying, but just remember that you guys are all safe now."

"For now, Mark. I'm scared..."

"I know you are, please don't cry."

I held in my tears as I massaged my head. "Vylad has been asking me non stop to go the honeymoon. Mark.....I can't leave. It's selfish of me to enjoy my time while not worrying over my daughter!"

"I think it's best to go....."

"What?!"

"Listen (y/n), I know what you're dealing with right now. Please....but just think about it. You have been worrying non stop, I kept getting calls from Vylad that you haven't ate for 2 days! Two days!"

"...I—"

"I'm saying all of this as your best friend....you can trust us to take care of your family. I understand that Maya is someone special, though all of us here can be trusted with her."

I stayed silent and hung up. It's rude....but I just needed time....

"You look awful...." I said to Vylad as we sat down at our table....in 3 am in the morning.

"Thanks, I didin't notice...." he said it sarcastically yet so tiredly.

"So what made you call me at 3 in the morning?" I ask as I sip at my coffee.
