I got a call from my mother this morning, she said she wanted me to come home. I didn't tell her I would or not. I just hung up. I'm not ready to come home. Why should I anyways? It's not like they treat me like I'm a part of it. After school I decided to call my dad and to ask him what the fight was about. I know he would cave faster than mom would.

"Hey dad, I was wondering if you could tell me what the fight was between you and mom, bye." I left him a message on his voicemail. I went over and sat on the couch. I should probably get my weekend's homework done. So I took out my notebooks and started copying problems down. I continued working on them for a while. Ethan sat across the room from me reading. Despite the fact that I've spent a lot of time with him, he barely speaks to me. He doesn't ask me anything, I mean it was kinda nice but now not so much. "Hey Ethan, I'm just wondering but why aren't you so concerned about me?"

"What do you mean?"

"Well usually people would ask if I was okay, or just try to see what I'm thinking about."

"Oh, well I don't ask for a few reasons. I didn't think you wanted me to pry into your personal business and to tell what you're thinking is extremely easy. Bianca you're an open book, I just have to take one look at you to know what's going on in your mind."

"Really." Am I that easy to read? Why hasn't anyone bothered to tell me before? Probably because no one cared enough to bother with me.

"Yes Bianca." Maybe it's just him who can read me easily. I know my parents can't.

Later on I found Ethan passed out on the couch, his book laying on his slow rising chest. I picked it up and put in his book mark. I grabbed the blanket I usually used to sleep with and covered him with it. He looked so peaceful, younger even.

Though everyone looks young when they're sleeping. I smiled and headed into his room. I changed into my pajamas and crawled into his bed, since he was sleeping on the couch where I usually slept. His bed smelled like him, it was comforting. I liked it. I fell fast asleep within no time at all.
