The next day, I went to the shop and I decided to buy Tal a camera. Nancy also gave me a great idea. She said to make him a card with love quotes inside, but I had a better idea. I decided to draw me and Tal together. Also, I thought that buying Tal a new stuffed animal would be really funny. So I got him one.
After 3 hours of crazy shopping, I decided to go back home and pack everything. I had to send the package a few days earlier since the package from UK to USA travels for nearly a month.
I sat down at my desk, took my pencil out, got an A4 sheet of paper, and started to draw me and Tal. I put some decent music on, and I got some snacks. I sat there at my desk for more than 5 hours, drawing.
I was tired than ever, and it wasn't even finished. I decided to go and take a shower, go sleep and then finish tomorrow.
The next morning when I woke up, I ate a quick breakfast with my mum, (hence my dad was at work and my sister was at a sleepover party). We ate scrumbled eggs with beans and some orange juice. It was really good.
When I was done, I rushed into my room, (not bothering to even get changed), sat at my desk and tried to finish the drawing.
After 2 hours of hard work, I finally finished my masterpiece. I got changed and went to buy a frame for the drawing.
When I came back home, I sent some pictures to my friends, (as promised), and then I packed everything up into a big box.
It was ready to be sent, so I paid and left the package in the post office with the workers, who'd take care of the box and send it to California, to Tal.
After this long day, I decided to go back home and relax by munching on some popcorn and watching Reaction Time in bed.
The next day when I woke up, I was full of energy. It was morning in UK, but pure night in LA. But honestly, I didn't care. I decided to text Tal a little 'hi'.
A few seconds later, I heard a knock.
