Chapter 1- Beginning

Karol: 'Tal, please'

Tal: 'Okay, I will in a second'

Karol: 'You promised me and a promise is a promise...'

Tal: 'Okay, I'll go sleep'

Karol: 'You better! I'm watching you!'

Tal: 'Oh no, I'm so scared'

Karol:'hahaha'

Tal: 'hahaha'

Karol:'Right, I got to go now. Night babe.'

Tal: 'Have a nice day, night'

Karol: 'Thank you, love you'

Tal: 'Love you too babe'

Karol: 'Who's gonna end the chat? Hehe'

Tal: 'I will. Bye Karol.'

Karol: 'Bye!'

Tal: 'Don't text back! I was meant to end it haha'

Karol: 'Ok, haha. Love you, night!'

Tal: 'Love you too'

"Ah, he' just amazing," I said to myself, putting my phone down. From the day I left USA, I've been talking to Tal daily. There was never a day were we'd never say 'hi' to each other. A far away realtionship is really hard, but we don't give up that easily.

There's many things that happened after I left; I turned 18, Tal turned 22, Christmas passes, New Year, I also went to Disney Land as promised, and well- soon I'llbe doing my big exams.

I was happier than ever, especially when Tal posted the videos that we recorded when I was in California. I was dying of laughter. They were so cringy. Well, I was so cringy.

Over the past few months, my youtube channel grew from 1 million to 5. I was so amazed, and I had no idea where all those subscribers came from.

So, Valentines Day is on the way, and well- at least I don't have to celebrate it alone. But even though I do have a boyfriend, he's miles and miles away from me. Valentines is less than a week away, and I have completely no idea what to get Tal.

No matter how much I'd want to go back to California to celebrate Valentines Day with Tal, I just couldn't, hance I had exams to study for and so, my parents wouldn't let me go. What else would I say to them?! 'Hey mum, dad, I'm going to Cali to my boyfriend for Valentines Day! I'll see ya in a week!' NO! They'd probably throw me out the window if I'd say something like that. And yes I know, I'm 18. But I still need to finish this academic year and do well in my exams.

But I didn't give up!I decided to ask some of my best friends for some advice; Momina, Vaishali and Nancy. They are some of the bestest friends I had and still have from when I started crushing on Tal. So I picked my phone up and texted them on a mini group chat that I have with them.

"Hey ma peeps! How are you all?" I started the conversetion.

Nancy: 'Heyyyy, I'm doing great. You?'

Karol: 'I'm awesome thx. I need your help girls. Valentines day is around the corner, and I don't know what to get Tal...'

Vaishali: 'A ring?'

Karol: Too early wtf'

Vaishali: 'A bunch of flowers?'

Nancy: 'Ermm, how about a Willy Pouch...? OMG just kiding haha'

Karol: 'WTF! NOOOOOOOO!!!! WHAT YOU THINKING OF?!'

Vaishali: 'hahaha'

Momina: 'hahaha'

Vaishali: 'A new camera?'

Nancy: 'YH'

Momina: 'Yeah, good one'

Nancy: 'What about a camera and something else? Something more romantic?'

Karol: 'Yeah, that's what I was thinking about. So a camera and something else...'

Nancy: 'Tal... always Tal...'

Karol: 'IKR, but girl... not a Willy Pouch... wtf hahaha'

Nancy: 'I'm dead'

Vaishali: 'haha'

Karol: 'Me too!'

Momina: 'hey, what about Sherri's Berries lol'

Vaishali: 'hahaha'

Karol: 'lol'

Momina: 'or you could gift him that stuffed toy he used to sleep with (or a similar one) haha'

Karol: 'OMG! THAT'S A GREAT IDEA!'

Nancy: 'haha'

Momina: 'Dollar shave kit lol jk'

Vaishali: 'haha'

Nancy: 'How about a home made card... with love quotes and cute things that made you emotional... haha'

Karol: 'Awwwh, that would be so cuteeeeeee!!!!'

Momina: 'Yh lol'

Karol: 'That's adorable!! These are such amazing ideas! I'll be sure to tell you what I decided to get him!'

Momina: 'Byeeeeee, good luck!'

Vaishali: 'LOVE YOU!'

"Well, at least I know what what to get Tal now," I thought to myself.
