Deene woke up in the morning then wonders if Tanda was real at all suddenly he sits up looking around for this so call a gift and notice a ring next to him soon he picks it up. "A ring?" Deene inspects the silver ring as if it were going to explode soon he notices 'Tanda' inside of the ring. Deene smile when he hears his room door open as he looks up Lai comes in "Good morning Deenie" Lai said happily. "Good morning Lai," Deene said back as he put the ring in his onesie before Lai can see it soon Lai walks next to his bed "are you hungry Deenie?" Deene nods and gets off of his bed. "Well let's go downstairs" Lai hops a bit and goes to the door as Deene follows her to the kitchen then Deene sits down in his place on the table while Lai makes him breakfast. Deene looked around to see where are the rest of the Wormhole but soon remember that Mr. Wormhole is at work while Mrs. Wormhole took James and Jack shopping for new clothes for the upcoming year of school and for Jack's birthday. It was just Lai and Deene in the house until the afternoon or later at night depends on how long Mrs.Wormhole want to shop for soon Deene wonder about the horror of Mrs. Wormhole shopping cart or how many bags inside of the car. Deene jumps a bit when Lai pats his head and place a plate full with breakfast in front of him when Deene looked at the plate he smiled and feel warm feelings grow inside of him as his egg omelet had a ketchup smiley face on it. Deene cares for Lai a lot not because she feeds him like a king but she is like a true sister to him. Lai next down next to him and watches him eat like how a mother would "are you going to eat breakfast?" Deene asked "no I want you to eat first" Lai reply soon Deene shakes his head and gets up and starts to make breakfast for Lai. Lai smiled and watches him soon he was done and he places her breakfast in front of her and sits back down. They both start to eat enjoying the silence with each other company after breakfast was done they start to clean up the house even though Deene didn't want Lai to do chores. Deene wet Lai with water as they were taking care of the garden in the backyard. They end up having a water hose fight which ends up them breaking a pot as soon the water pot broke they looked at each other then they ran away from the scene like they just commit a crime. Lai and Deene were done cleaning and sitting down on the couch "can you braid my hair Deene?" Lai asked Deene nods and Lai turns her body away from him as Deene sits up and brushes her hair with his hands and fingers. Lai closes her eyes and enjoys the feeling of having her hair braid as Deene smiles as he braids her hair. When Deene was finished "thank you Deene" Lai said and Deene nods "you're welcome Lai". "we should go and hide the pot before my mother comes back and you get in trouble" Lai said as she sinks down the couch and Deene looks at her then copies her "yeah you're right" Deene pout "later?" Lai asked "later.." Deene nods as saying yes. It was night time as Deene and Lai color in coloring books while laying down on the living room floor. "We should go for the pot now," Lai said as they noticed it was late and Mrs. Wormhole and the two boys or Mr. Wormhole may come in at any minute now. Lai went outside first as Deene pick the mess they made in the living room floor while cleaning he hears Lai screams. Deene drops everything and runs outside to the backyard and see Lai on the grass holding her left leg up "are you okay Lai?!" Deene asked concern Lai shakes her head as she tries not to cry soon he noticed she has a piece of the pot inside of the left foot. Deene quickly picks her up bridal style and carries her inside of the house then place her down on top of the dinner table as he starts to run to get a big bowl of water with a towel, soon he place them down next to her and runs to go get a medkit. Lai finally starts to cries as Deene brings the medkit "please don't cry Lai" Deene said calmly as he lifts up her leg up "DON'T TAKE IT OUT" Lai cries in pain "but I have to unless you want to keep feeling pain" Deene told her calmly "DO IT QUICKLY PLEASE!!" Lai screams in pain Deene nods quickly then grabs the piece of pot "NEVERMIND DON'T DO IT!!! I WANT TO KEEP FEELING PAIN!!" Lai screams while trying to get away but Deene holds on to her leg strong soon pulls it out as Lai screams in terror. Deene puts Lai's foot inside of the big bowl of water as quickly it was and opens the medkit pulling out the bandages soon Lai cries and screams calm she was just sobbing as Deene clean her wound then bandaged it up. "T-thank you Deene.." Lai sob out as Deene look at her "you're welcome and I know you'll do the same for me" Lai smiled as Deene kiss her injured foot "better?" Deene asked while Lai giggles. "Yes thank you mom" Lai reply while looking at him then Deene leans closer as Lai smiles. Deene kisses Lai on her forehead and Lai hugs him "you're the best brother that any sister can ask for." Suddenly the front door open as Mrs. Wormhole, James and Jack with many bags of clothes surprised there weren't any giants helping to carry them. "WHAT DID YOU DO?!?!" Mrs. Wormhole yelled at Deene then she walks towards them before dumping the bags she was carrying on James who looked like he was carrying a mountain already soon he falls down on the floor. "W-well she got hurt.." Deene looked down as he noticed how much blood was on the floor then he knew how deep in trouble he was in or going to be in. Mrs. Wormhole grabs a handful of Deene's hair "LAST TIME I LEAVE YOU WITH MY BABY" she screamed "but mom it wasn't his fault" Lai tried to speak up for Deene "baby not right now" Mrs. Wormhole told her calmly while pulling Deene's ear and taking him to his basement room door. "YOU'RE GOING TO STAY IN YOUR ROOM UNTIL I DECIDED WHAT YOUR PUNISHMENT IS GOING TO BE!!" Mrs. Wormhole screams into Deene's ear as she pulls on it hard making it red. She let's go of his ear and push him into the basement stairs from the back of his head hard not caring if he fell which he did. Deene closes his eyes as he fell down the stairs just waiting for the merciless floor to catch him from the unforgiving wooden stairs. As Deene crash onto the floor, he laid there hoping the numbness can last until his body wakes up and screams. Deene hears laugher upstairs which were Jack's and James's who loves seeing him in pain or his punishment given to him. As the door slams shut like an alarm clock to his body and starts to wake up for it's his time to get up and ignore his screaming body at him. Deene just lies then slowly letting his tears fall down from his eyes. After time has past he slowly sits up and looks down at the floor then look at his hands that have many small cuts and scars from many years of misery. Deene's face held acceptance that this is his life forever until his finds a job and leaves but he doubts it because he has never been to school or never been outside the house for a long time. Deene touch is Oniese to see if there are any holes soon none are found and its only dirty. Deene hugs himself because of the oniese since it's the only love he have near him and he can feel as Deene silently cries while screaming silently all his feelings out like he is asking for salvation. When Deene went numb he took off the oniese and hides it then sits down on his legs in the middle of the room waiting for his punishment to happen. As Deene sits, we see so many scars around his whole torso and his arms and we can some are deeper than others because how big or how noticeable it is to see them. Fear rise within Deene as he hears the basement door open and the stairs creak as his biggest fear comes down stair. "I'm glad you know how to prepare your punishment and accept it." A deep voice said as Deene looks back to see Mr. Wormhole standing behind him a few feet away. They're eyes lock one holds fear and the other wroth. "Shall we begin" Once Mr. Wormhole finish talking, someone closes the basement door as Deene's tears flood out but he didn't make a sound soon when darkness consumes them unspeakable things happen. Mr. Wormhole walks upstairs to leave the basement while his knuckles are red once there he closes the door. Deene was curl up in a ball then slowly lies out letting us see many bruises all over his body and his face was worse. Deene's left eye is black, right cheek swollen and his nose bleeding. Deene looks where he hides the onesie and crawls towards ignoring his body screaming at him to stop but he will not stop until he is near the gift Lai give him. Deene was so close as his body shaking violently, he finally grab his gift and hold it close. Deene curl up into a ball while buried his face into the onesie suddenly a blue butterfly slowly flies down on Deene's head as Deene feels calmness flow through his body and he falls a dreamless sleep.
