Build-A -Bear-Workshop. That store that all the little boys and girls go too, to have a snuggle buddy, or just make their parents lose money over a little animal dressed in drag. That little shop that is located on the street of Willow Glenn, next to the book shop on the left, and the coffee shop on the right. It's not in a mall like it would typically be, no it's outside, near the cobblestone streets. The shop wasn't as big as the ones in the mall, but it made an exception. It still had all the necessities that a Build-A-Bear-Workshop would need like a clothing area, stuffing machines, air baths, registration, animal selection, and check-outs. It was your typical interior design, you got your red, yellow, gold, red, and blue theme going on with the little bears head's on everything.

It was another day at the shop, not very busy, only a couple customers a hour. Ryan was at the stuffing station and Jon was taking care of the register while Spencer patrolled the clothing areas, looking to see if people needed help or not. Ryan was stuffing a Polar Bear for a little boy with blonde hair, when the door bell rung, a little girl and tall boy with dark hair came into the shop. Ryan's head popped up to see the new customers. There was a little girl with black hair and tiny frame, as for the taller boy, he had really dark hair. He couldn't tell if it was black or really dark brown. The taller boy had black rimmed glasses, looked in his 19's, really big lips, and brown eyes that you could swim in. He was attractive, Ryan could admit that.

He finished the Polar Bear he was stuffing for the blonde kid and eyed the tall boy, he was looking at the empty giraffes body. The little black haired girl was squirming with excitement by running up and down the aisle, looking at every animal they had. She finally resulted to a Blue Bear, as for the black haired boy, he had a orange tabby cat. They slowly walked over with the empty animal bodies in their hands, it was kind of sad looking.

The little girl zoomed up quicker with the happiest grin and shoved the animal in Ryan's hand. "It's my birthday!" She exclaimed with her hands together. Ryan nodded and stuck the hole on the machine, "Well Happy Birthday." Ryan says with a fake grin, he doesn't really like kids. She squeaked and turned to the other boy.

He approached with the tiniest smile and said, "Sorry about Fiona, she gets excited." Ryan shrugged at his apology and turned his attention to the stuffed animal on the machine. He took it off when it looked like it was finished. He handed it over to Fiona and took the other boy's animal. He didn't even bother knowing the other boy's name.

When the dark haired boy handed it over, Ryan's hand was met with a warmth, it was the other boy. Their hands brushed together by accident and Ryan blushed.

He took the animal and placed it on the stuffing machine holder, then turning it on after.

"I'm going to give it a name!" Fiona exclaims before running off to the computers. The boy was kind of just staring at Ryan. What did he want? He looked at least a year younger than Ryan, maybe.

"What should I name it?" The taller boy asked shyly. Ryan wondered how he would know.

"I dont know? Knots? Isn't that your job to figure out the name?" The stuffer said boredly, not really paying attention to the other boy.

"Oh! That's a good name! Did you know my sister has knots in her hair all the time? Yeah, it's pretty bad. My sister is annoying, but I love her at the same time, even though she can get on my nerves all the time-" The boy babbles. Wow this guy talks way too much. Ryan continues to stare at him with a confused look on his face and asking himself, 'Who is this guy?'

"Um, I think it's going to explode-" The boy was cut off when suddenly white stuffing was everywhere, on the floor, on the shelves, and on the desks. They unfolded their hands from the top of their heads, looking around at the mess. Ryan groaned and picked up the ripped little animal body.

" I'm so sorry, here I'll help!" The boy insisted. Ryan shook his head.

"No no, just go get another one. Its my fault anyway." Ryan shood him to go get another, he did what he was told. He came back with the same animal he had last time. He had a tiny smirk. What was he smirking about?

Ryan didn't finish cleaning up but he stuffed the animal quick so there wouldn't be anymore trouble. He stitched up the remainder of the hole and handed it to him.

He smirked again and said, "Thanks and sorry." Ryan nodded and brought his attention to the next customer coming through the door. He mentally groaned at the sight of another customer. "No problem." Ryan said blankly. With that the weird dark haired boy walked over to the computers and sat down.

Ryan sighed and got back to work, cleaning up the mess he made when staring the boy to much. Spencer's eyes caught Ryan's, he rolling his eyes. Once he finishes cleaning up he sits back in his seat, awaiting the next person for stuffing. His eyes every once in awhile glanced at the boy that talked way to much. He was picking an outfit now, in the costume section.

"I'm going on my break! Ryan take over!" Jon calls before heading out the door into the busy street. Ryan groans. There is not enough workers here to maintain the entire shop. He abandons the stuffing station, letting Spencer take his spot while he works the cash register.

He goes behind the counter and puts on his bear ears. Its required for the cash-register. Spencer just wants to see them burn in embarassment. He opens the register and sees a good amount for the day. He then takes out a book and sits on the stool, his knees against the counter. He reads silently for a good ten minutes before he hears a clearing of a throat. He looks up and raises his eyebrow. It's the tall boy that talks to much.

"Hello. How can I help you?" Ryan says in monotone, not moving from his spot on the chair. The boy sets his creation on the counter and takes out his wallet. Ryan looks at him with a confused look, "Why is your cat dressed in a bear costume? It's a cat?" Ryan says without even realizing he said it out loud. His brown eyes looked up from his wallet and at into Ryan's.

"So? What's wrong with that?" The guy seems a little taken aback. Ryan shrugged.

"Its kind of strange. You don't normally do that when you get a cat. Like if you wanted a bear- you would have chose a bear instead." Ryan says like it was the most simple logic in the world. The boy wrinkles his nose.

"Well maybe the cat wanted to be a bear." He presses on. Ryan slightly rolls his eyes, "I'm just saying. Well I need your regestration to continue." Ryan points to the thing in the other boys hands. He gives it to Ryan hesitantly, and he looks at it.

"I'm guessing you decided on Knots." Ryan said blankly while scrolling on the computer. He nodded. "Well I really doubt your name is ' I don't care.' " Ryan adds, giving him an eyebrow.

"Well I didn't want to use my name." He said back, taping his fingers on the counter, repeatedly. Ryan shrugged and scanned everything. The little girl came up to the counter and set it on top, as well as her regrestration sheet. Ryan blinked and scanned her stuff as well.

"Well Fiona Urie, Happy Birthday. It's going to be $101, do you have any coupons? " Ryan said, still looking at the computer. The taller boy shook his head and glared at Fiona.

"I told you not to use our last name." He mutters to her. Anybody would understand why they wouldn't put their real name, it to dangerous for strangers knowing to much.

She rolls her eyes and grabs the money from him and gives it to Ryan. He cashed it in and gave their change. The dark haired guy gave him a nod before turning and walking out with his sister, there was a sparkle in his eye.

Ryan watched them leave the shop, never breaking contact until they were around the counter. He shook his head at the strange people. A cat in a bear costume? Weird babbling? Those eyes. That intrigued Ryan. Who was this guy? He didn't even know his name. He chuckled to himself and read his book once more.

"Go clean the bathroom." Spencer called from the stuffing machine. Ryan groaned again and looked up from his book and noticed there was literally no customers. He gets up and goes to the bathroom and sees toilet paper everywhere.

He loves his job.
