That night came to a close and Ryan took Brendon home because he didn't have a ride, he just took the bus. It was awkward saying goodbye, it included a hug. But let's not dwell on this from a week a ago.

7 days later is what seems like a good time to spend apart after that date? Ryan wasn't exactly sure what it was, but he was with Brendon either way so it still was amazing in his book.

Ryan sat in his crappy apartment, walls that are fading of color and the couches squeak way too often. He was texting Jon, telling him for the 6th time about what happened at Christmas at the park. Jon just kept rubbing it in Ryan's face that "he told him so."

A screen popped up in his face, and it wasn't one he was familiar with. It was a number, with a business code under the picture. So of course he answered it.

A man's voice echoed through the phone, "Hello Sir. Is this the number of Ryan Ross?"

Ryan paused. Who was this guy?

"Yes it is. May I ask who this is?" He asked, trying not to sound rude.

"This is the college in San Rosa you have sent your transcript to in September. We got a good look at your work and we would love to have you be a student here." The man explains. Ryan can't breathe, he really can't. When he sent that back in September, it was nothing more than a dare to himself because he knew he wouldn't get in.

"Wow, I'm honoured sir. I don't know what to say." He really doesn't.

"Say yes my boy! You can even have a spot in the three year journalist project."

So this was the offer Ryan was unsure about. How could he pass up a offer like this.

"I would love to. What do I do?" Ryan asked, biting his lip.

"We would like to have you by the end of the month for semester reasons, considering our semester starts after new years day. If you can do that, that would be great and we will send you the information and paper work next week. Good luck newly Grizzly." He hung up.

Ryan sat their for a couple moments, unable to speak, move, think, breathe, live. He let out that breath he has been holding the entire time and screamed.

"HOLY SHIT!" He was full of glee. He didn't stop at anything to tell his friend, he called Brendon.

After a couple rings, Ryan tapped his foot anxiously. It finally answered.

"Hey Ryan." He sounded tired.

"BRENDON!"

"Jesus, it's like 1 p.m, people are trying to sleep."

  "I don't care."

  "Okay what?"

"I got accepted into my dream college!"

"No way man, that's amazing! Congratulations!" Brendon cheered. "What school is it?"

"The Grizzly Tearas."

"Wait, isn't that like across the state?"

  "Yes."

"Wow, that's- great." Brendon said with a weird laugh.

  "I know right! I can't believe it!"

Brendon nervously laughs. "Yay. Well I uh have to sleep. Bye Ryan."

He hung up before Ryan could say anything else. He shrugged and called his next friend, Jon.

***********************

Ryan is working at Stuffed Bear Hell at the moment, taking in the last times he'll work here. He is pretty happy about that, but of course he'll miss his favorite customer.

Considering it's almost Christmas, Spencer likes to burn his workers in embarrassment. Another reason he called this place 'hell' is because he has to wear a fucking costume for two weeks before Christmas.

Yeah, he has to wear a brown bear onesie for the entire shift, so does Jon. It's nice inside it though because it's so cold all the time. The outfit is soft as well.

He has to admit it's pretty embarrassing to have a bear-eared hood and paws as feet, but it's just the job.

He was scanning something for a middle-aged woman with blonde hair. He could tell it was bleached, way to bleached. She was rambling about something Ryan didn't bother to pay attention to.

His attention swung to the door bell and Brendon walking in again. Ryan smiled down at his working hands, trying to not show his humiliating self. Speaking of humiliating, Ryan's still wearing the costume.

He inwardly cursed and hurried with the girl's things so he can go hide. He hid under the desk, in the the leg gap.

There was a big thud against the desk. Someone kicked the side and Ryan screamed.

"Why are you hiding from me?" Brendon chuckled. Ryan heard him set something on the counter.

"I look stupid. Go. You can't see me like this." Ryan stiffled his laugh.

"Come on, I bet it's not that bad."

Ryan gets up from under the desk, hitting his head on the way. He stood up and fixed his bear eared hood.

Brendon giggled, again. Like stop. "It's not bad. Your ashamed of looking cute?"

Ryan blushed furiously. "I think- well- no- yes. Thanks,"

   "Yeah."

    "Yup."

"Are you going to scan these or?" Brendon motioned to his accessories for a stuffed animal. Ryan shook his head back into reality and started to scan.

"Wait, cancel that. I'm just going to be straight up honest."

     Ryan was confused now.

"Do you know how much money I wasted here? I had to buy something or else it was going to be suspicious that I was totally checking you out all the time." Brendon scoffed, but he continued, "When I saw you, how can someone be so cute? I mean how can someone be so cute. Like it's not humanly natural. Are you human? Or an alien? I saw an alien when I was six...." Brendon rambled on and on. Ryan's eyes were wide open. "I'm Sorry. I'm just really weird, and I have ADHD."

That explains literally everything. Ryan thought it was too cute. Ryan couldn't believe Brendon's words, he has been stalking him at a stupid store just to see him. That's a new one.

"It's- It's okay. It's cute- uh Yeah." Ryan stutters. Brendon does that side smirk that people love way too much, or just Ryan loves way too much.
