Chapter 37: Possible Comeback?

Jimin was paralyzed.
He couldn't even let a petty whimper out of his mouth.
He stark stared at the Grand Resort entrance.

Tama looked ethereal in that blue attire.
Beautiful to the power of infinity.

"Jimin ssi, what you staring at so hard?" Jungkook asked his hyung, shaking his hand vigorously.

"Ta..Tamaaaa..."

Tama was holding Anushka's hath phool and was walking right beside her.

As the bride entered the mandap grounds, there was huge welcoming roar from the groom's side heard.

But the groom was somewhat in a similar situation like that of Jimin.

Abhishek couldn't see Anushka's face and that literally made him restless!

Anushka smiled from beneath her pallu and walked inside the mandap, the usual roar of music and celebration ongoing in the background.

"Oh my goodness! She looks amazing hyuu---"
Jungkook couldn't finish his sentence.

Cuz right then entered Jisha, who instantly started looking for Jin, holding the shankh Anushka was supposed to carry.
Then he saw Miley who sneaked behind Jisha and giggled at how the ladke wale were welcoming the bride.
Then Shree who entered along with Tani, holding the sindur thali and the saree.
"Why does every freaking girl look out of the world toda---"
And Jungkook, once again, couldn't finish his sentence.
Cuz then entered Aayu.
Clad in that murderous red lehenga and Jungkook couldn't really help but stare at her.

Jimin and Kook felt a gentle thump behind them and turning back, they saw the rest of the guys, somewhat in a similar situation as these two Maknaes, staring hard at their girlfriends as they made their entry.

"So the bride needs to sit right here, in this bedi."
The pandit commanded.

Anushka walked upto the bedi and placed herself on it, right beside the already palpitating Abhishek who so wanted to lift his wife's pallu up and look at her but you know, there were people.😂

The seven girls walked inside the mandap and helped Anushka with her requirements and were about to turn their back when they saw the boys.

And let's not forget the fact that Rekha Masi had to call the girls atleast three times to move out of the mandap so that the wedding can start because of some very weird reasons, they stood paralyzed there.

"The auspicious moment is finally here. I want the bride to place her hand on this earthen pyala."
The pandit commanded.

There was a round of applause as the rituals for the marriage finally began.

Anushka did as directed.

The seven girls stood at a distance, watching the wedding they've all patiently waited for all these months, finally unfold.
But presently, they had their hearts thumping hard against their chests, seeing the boys sitting right behind Abhishek.

"Can't we talkto them?"
Shree asked.

"I don't think so cuz you know, nobody will want us to vanish out of the blue while the wedding is going on," Tani said.

"Ah, let's sit down here then," Miley suggested.

"Now, the groom and the bride can stand up and exchange varmalas to depict the onset of the auspicious occasion."
The pandit directed.

Abhishek and Anushka were handed over with beautiful varmalas.
They people cheered from behind as everyone crowded near the bride and groom to see them look at each other and signify the beginning of the marriage rituals with the exchange of varmalas.
The girls walked up to them and in no time, got lost in the crowd.

"Unveil the bride's face!"
The pandit commanded.

Rekha Masi slowly pulled up the ghoonghat and as Anushka's face was revealed, Abhishek couldn't help but stare intently at her.
She looked damn amazing. Like, the most beautiful bride the world could have witnessed.
Anushka smiled. She knew this was going to get embarassing but she shivered. She looked up at Abhishek. He smiled. They then lifted the varmalas and put them on each other. Then another round of exchange. Then another.
The crowd cheered and roared in excitement. The girls were giggling in excitement, oh how beautiful they looked!

When the exchange of varmalas was finally over, the bride and groom placed themselves on the bedi again.
The yajna fire was lighted up and the pandit began with the mantras.

The boys were still standing behind Abhishek when Hoseok's phone vibrated.
"Ah, am sure it's Miley!" he said and fished the cell out of his pocket.

But as soon as he saw who sent him the text, his jaws dropped.
"What happened Hyung?" Tae asked.

Hoseok turned the screen towards Tae.

Meg: Can you meet me once in the back lawn, along with the rest of BTS?
