Chap. 24 / Soul Society Had A Storm

A/N We'll take a break in FT for a chapter.

One month has passed since the dark cloud that is actually a storm, is an unpredicted phenomenon that happened in Soul Society. What does that mean? Why is a storm in Soul Society? Such questions are in every people's mind. But, they are sure that it is a bad omen.
And also, because it give a lot of damage in Soul Society the captains meeting was postponed for a month and ordered to just focus on repairing the Soul Society. And today, is the day of the Captain's meeting.

Every captain is there except for a certain 10th squad captain. Where is he? Is the question in every person in the large room.

All (or maybe just a few) of them thinks that they should just wait for the said person, but the captain commander thumped his wooden cane (that is actually his zanpakuto underneath) on the wooden floor and everybody's attention turned to the old man who is there leader.

"Yama-jii, shouldn't we wait for Hitsugaya-taichou?" Shunsui suggested, leaning his straw hat down a bit. But, little did they know that one of the topics is about the missing person.

"There's no need for that." Answered Yamamoto, that made the captains confused and shocked. Why not? What's the problem?

"I'll tell you later why, but let's start off with our first topic...I thank you all for your hard work on repairing Seireitei."

"It was the unseated officers who worked hard for it, even though it is still not done yet." Unohana said smiling.

".....That storm that hit Soul Society one month ago...Kurotsuchi-taichou, did you predicted that?" Everybody then turned to the Captain of 12th Division.

"I neither my subordinates haven't. Plus, who would expect that there would be a storm in Seireitei? It never did have a storm once! We don't have climates like the Human World, so we wouldn't thought that it will ever happen."

"You do make a point. We would never expect a storm because Soul Society have never had a storm before. But why happen now of all times?" Komamura voiced his opinion.

"We don't know. But it sure means of a bad omen." Jushiro said.

"More questions, less answers." Byakuya said with his eyes closed and shooking his head

The Head Captain thumped his staff on the floor once again and all attention turned to him once again.
"I'm sure,...Many of you noticed what that storm actually is...."

Nobody answered. Those who know the answer just looked down, squinting their eyes. While those who don't looked around the room with confused faces (Kenpachi don't care much).

"It's...." The Head Captain started.

"A portal..." Answered 4 captains, which are Kurotsuchi, Kuchiki, Unohana & Kyoraku.

"Correct"

Those who didn't know that it was actually a portal that turned into a storm, was so shocked.
"W-what?"
"Is that possible?!"
"Why is there a portal here? Moreover, a storm?"

Everybody then became more confused than ever, and the Head Captain thumped his staff again which caused them to fall silent again.

"That---" The Head Captain was cut off when Zaraki suddenly speak.

"So that means people went here. I don't know if they are strong or not. Listen! I'd be the first one to fight them!...But, no sighting or presence of mysterious people have been heard throughout the month."

"About that...I was about to say what that is."

Kenpachi fell silent and just shrugged.

"Thank you for your silence...That portal...." The Captain Commander then opened his eyes. "Didn't bring anyone in here, but!..They brought someone out.."
