Every Need

Ch.1

      "What's a lady doing at a bar all by herself?" asked the handsome man.  "And what makes you think I'm alone?" I ask him.  " Well considering the fact that you've been sitting here for the last past hour by yourself with a depressed look on your face; one would asume that you are alone," the man says with a smirk.  "So you were watching me?" I asked with a raised eyebrow.  "Something like that," says the man.  "Do you mind if I join you?" asked the man.  "Sure," I reply.  "I'm Nate by the way."  "And I'm Camila".  And that's how it all started.

                                                                       Wedding Day

      "Oh Sweetie I can't believe you are getting married!" my mom exclaimed.  "You're going to make me cry mom," I start to tear up.  I have everyone to leave me to myself for the last minutes  before I walk down the aisle.  I got this.  You can do this Camila. I get to marry the man of my dreams today, so there is no need to second guess.  I know Nate is the one for me, but I still feel slightly unsure if now is the right time.  Then again, will there ever be a right time.  I got this.

       As I walk down the aisle, I feel every eye on me.  "She looks so beautiful," I hear multiple people whisper.  My dress is backless with crystal decorations and is floor length.  It fits in all the right places, but isn't too tight.

     When I make it to the end of the aisle,  I look at Nate and take in the man  that I am marrying.  "You look beautiful", he whispers.  "You look handsome," yourself I say back.  "Ladies and Gentlemen  we are gathered here today to celebrate Camila and Nate in holy matrimony.  If there is anyone here that objects to this marriage, speak now".

                                                     Four  Years  Later

      "Babe C'mon".  " No I have to finish my work", I reply.  "You are always working and never seem to have time for me, and I work long hours like you but still manage to have time for you, he says slightly irritated.  " Well, I promise after I close this deal I will make more time for you. Ok," I say with a pouty face.  "I hope you stay true to your word", Nate says.  "I got to get back to the hospital.  A doctor's work is never done", he says.   "Well I better be on my way as well to my workplace", I said half-heartedly. 

       When Nate and I got, married I was 22, and he was 25.   At the time I believe that everything would be all peaches and cream, but that isn't the reality.  Two years ago I obtained an MBA from Columbia University.  I am the COO( Chief Operating Officer) of    D. Taylor Inc.   It's an exciting job; I love what I do.  "Good morning Mrs. Monroe", my assistant says. "Your meeting is in half an hour".  "Thank you", I reply. 

      About  a half hour later, the CEO, Drew Taylor walks in.  "How's my partner in crime", Drew says with a smile.  " I knew I made a good decision when I made you COO," Drew says proudly.  "Well,  I can't take all the credit because you are just as brilliant", I reply.    "How about drinks after work?" Drew asks.  "I'm sorry I'm afraid I already have plans", I say with a fake disappointed face.  "Since when do you ever have plans 'Ms. I'm to busy to do anything else'," he says. "Well", I say.  "My point exactly", he says.  "I'm sorry but, I promised my husband I would spend the evening with him," I say. "Ok. Just let me know if your plans happen to change," he says.  And with that my phone rang.  "I'll leave you to it", before Drew walks out my office.

      When I arrive home, Nate isn't there yet.  I decide to take a shower.  After my shower, I watch tv, but I end falling asleep.

     I wake up to kisses on my neck. "Your finally awake", Nate says.  "When did you get in?" I ask.  "I arrived at home around 11 last night.  I was crazy busy at the hospital", he says with a sigh.  He continues to kiss my neck.  He presumes to unbutton my shirt. "Not now Nate," I say.  "What? I just want to have some fun with my wife," he says disappointed.  "But I don't want to", I say annoyed.  "It's been almost a year", he says.  "We need to work on other things in our relationship first", I say lastly.  "Whatever", Nate walks out and slams the door.
